JORDAN North has dropped his biggest hint yet that he’s signed up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The Capital DJ, 34, said that he’s got two left feet and would struggle in the BBC competition.
He’s won over the nation and came runner-up on I’m A Celebrity back in 2020, and may be eyeing up another popular programme.
Jordan was joined by co-hosts Kemi Rodgers and Chris Stark refused to confirm or deny his place on Strictly or Big Brother.
Kemi asked him: Jordan we’ve seen a rumour, it’s been doing the rounds on TikTok, I’m going to come out and say it. Are you doing Strictly Come Dancing?”
Jordan replied: “Oh. I’ve also heard about this, it was brought to my attention a few people have been asking me…”
Chris was keen to know: “We can clear it up now. My mum messaged, saying “I see J is doing Strictly?” I go back with ‘whose J?’ She always wants tickets…so I go ‘Jordan? Oh I’m not sure, I can ask.’
“She messaged back ‘Oh, the other rumoured one is Roman’.”
Jordan then tried to deflect and said: “Oh I’d put money on Roman doing it actually.”
His co-presenters were then interested to know if Jordan would be taking on the Big Brother house in the celebrity version next year.
Chris shared: “You’re also rumoured to be doing Big Brother.”
Jordan responded: “There’s a lot of rumours for these ones, before I started on Capital , a lot of people saying I was going to do. Big Brother. I can’t confirm or deny.
“If I say to you right now “I’m not doing it” you’ll like “ohhhh you’re definitely doing it aren’t you!”
Hoping to get the truth out of him, Chris joked: “Also you don’t want to be a liar either, because the trust from the public will diminish and you’ll make me look foolish.
“So just to clear it up you’re doing neither.”
Jordan reiterated: “It’s just better to say I can’t confirm nor deny.”
He then appeared to protest too much, which further fuelled Strictly rumours.
Jordan said: “If I was on Strictly I would constantly look like I was constipated, it would be awful.
“And I’d be like, 1…2…3…4.. I can’t dance. I’m honestly not doing it but no one will believe me anyway.
“I can’t dance for toffee, I have no rhythm, the only dance I can dance to, confidently, is a Cha-Cha-Slide.
” Because they tell you what to do. 1 hop this time…left right food stomp, right foot left stomp.”
It comes after The Sun revealed that Arsenal legend Paul Merson, 56, hopes to show off some dazzling footwork after signing for Strictly.
A source on the BBC show said: “Paul will be a popular addition.”
Paul joins DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles, blind comedian Chris McCausland and Towie star Pete Wicks on the line-up, which the BBC is days from revealing in full.

15th July: Strictly bosses implement new duty of care protocols, including having a chaperone present throughout all rehearsals.
16th July: Zara McDermott speaks out publicly for first time. She states while the production team were “amazing to work with”, she found the rehearsal room “completely different”, confirming there’s footage of “certain situations”.
19th July: Anton Du Beke is put under the spotlight for his “1970s attitude” and treatment of female celeb stars, particularly after allegedly referring to 2009 partner Laila Rouass as a “p***” after getting a spray tan.

23rd July: Strictly is forced to beef up security after ‘an intruder scales the wall of the rehearsal studio’.
23rd July: BBC boss Tim Davie breaks his silence on the ongoing allegations against Strictly, saying he is ‘deeply sorry’, adding: “Hundreds of people, be they pros, contestants or crew have been part of it and had a brilliant experience.
“At the same time if someone thinks there was something wrong or they want to talk about their experience then of course we want them to raise that with us. Be in no doubt we will take it seriously, listen and deal with it as appropriate.”
24th July: Strictly 2023 star Krishnan Guru-Murthy holds a bombshell interview with Amanda Abbington on Channel 4 news, where she claims she was bullied, with some of the ‘humilation being of a sexual nature’.
27th July: Laura Whitmore releases a statement regarding her Strictly experience, saying “I thought my experience was specific to me but I’ve since learned I was wrong”.
She adds she is not part of the official complaint, but has come forward to support Amanda with the BBC, alongside others.
28th July: Laila Rouass speaks out against the accusations regarding Anton Du Beke, saying she “never felt pressured” by him and “personally insisted on six to seven hours training a day”.
