A MAN’s body has been found on Seaford Beach – with cops swarming to the popular tourist spot and blocking it with tarpaulin sheets.
Emergency services scrambled to the beach in East Sussex at around 11.30am this morning.
Cops, paramedics and HM Coastguard were called after a man’s body was found on the beach.
Sussex Police is now working to identify the man and the circumstances of his death.
A spokesperson for the force said: “The beach is likely to remain closed for some time while this is ongoing.
“We thank the public for their patience and understanding. No further information is available at this time.”
At least seven police cars raced to the beach after officers were called this morning.
