A fifth said: “BBC changed channels and Pidcock gets a puncture.”
Another added: “Why have the BBC cut away as Pidcock punctured?”
Pidcock had been in first place and chasing a gold medal when the puncture struck.
It is not the first time Team GB’s cyclists have had punctures as Josh Tarling also had to deal with the issue.
He missed out on a medal in the time trial earlier in the Olympics because of a puncture.
Fortunately, Pidcock was able to successfully recover from the picture to win the event.
He bravely battled back to pip Victor Koretzky to the gold medal in a thrilling end to the race.
