Speaking after the event, Williams recalled how he considered quitting the sport after the shock death of his coach Dave Jenkins in October 2021.
Jenkins died of sudden adult death syndrome aged 31 while swimming in a pool in the Turkish resort of Antlaya.
He was the development lead coach for Dive London, based at the London Aquatics Centre, where he had worked for eight years.
Jenkins was a mentor and a friend to Williams since the Olympics star was just 16.
