LOVE Island fans are demanding bosses remove a contestant from the villa amid bullying complaints.
Viewers are growing increasingly uncomfortable watching interactions between Sean Stone, Mimii Ngulube and her partner Josh Oyinsan – despite the former complimenting Mimii during the talent show earlier in the week.
One person complained on X: “dawg every episode Sean goes for josh and Mimii… get him gone PLEASE.”
Another said: “Love Island, hold Sean responsible for consistently bullying Josh and Mimi, Let him apologies on camera just as you’ve permitted him to harass them. It is not good for their mental health!”
A third wrote: “Clearly Sean is obsessed with Mimi and Josh cuz whattttt SEAN ITS ENOUGH leave Josh and Mimii ALONE !!!!”
Earlier this week there were suggestions Sean could be targeting fan favourite Mimii in a bid to boost his chances of making the final.
During the programme’s faux awards ceremony, the Grafties, Sean shot his mouth off.
He criticised Mimi’s relationship with Josh after the latter’s connection with Grace Jackson and Mimii’s ongoing feelings for her ex Ayo Odukoya.
Mimii was dumped by Ayo at Casa Amor after he found a better connection with Jessica Spencer, but she has since bonded well with Josh.
Sean, who is in a relationship with Matilda Draper, questioned Mimii’s Josh’s decision to make the relationship exclusive just days after the pair appeared to be unsure of their connection with one another.
He asked for it to “make sense”, before Mimii said to him: “No one actually forced you to say anything.
“It seems like you have an issue?”
He hit back: “No, I don’t! It’s just the topic of conversation that we are talking about.”
And last night he was called out, along with Joey Essex, for repeatedly bringing up Mimii’s secret terrace rendezvous with Ayo, seemingly to cause a rift between her and Josh.
A despairing Mimii questioned the boys’ version of events while Josh told them directly he was fed up with it, despite their claims it was just a joke.
Sean’s return to his antagonistic self came after a minor reprieve in the talent show when he said: “The pinnacle, everyone loves them, they’re always there guaranteed whenever you need them and this lady is that woman. So Mimii, the dry strawberry goes to you.”
The out of character compliment made viewers think that producers had had a quiet word with him.
