LOVE Island viewers are convinced producers have intervened after a show star faced claims of bullying.
Fans of the programme have found Sean Stone’s behaviour towards Mimii Ngulube difficult to watch for days now, with a number of jibes leaving them convinced Sean is unfairly targeting her.
However, Sean’s attitude seemed totally different last night as hew reeled off the compliments during his sweet-infused performance at the talent show.
He enthused: “The pinnacle, everyone loves them, they’re always there guaranteed whenever you need them and this lady is that woman. So Mimii, the dry strawberry goes to you.”
It led viewers to think someone has had a word in his ear.
One person wrote on X: “Producers deffoooo forced Sean to say something nice about Mimi. Oh…and he ruined it immediately.”
Another said: “Sean has definitely been told by the producers to be nice to Mimii, why is he suddenly up her ass???
A third wrote: “Did the producers tell Sean to start being nice to Mimi
A fourth shared: “Producers defo had a convo with Sean bc why’s he up Mimii’s ass all of a sudden.”
Furious previously slammed the way Sean spoke to Mimii during the programme’s fiery Grafties ceremony.
The annual faux-awards ceremony saw tempers flare as Islanders were left rowing with one another after being shown clips from their time in the Majorcan villa.
Sean and Mimii continually butted heads throughout the evening as the sweet salesman had more than a few comments to say about the stunner’s new exclusive romance with Josh.
Mimii was dumped by Ayo at Casa Amor after he found a better connection with Jessica Spencer.
She has since found a connection with one of the villa’s newest recruits, Josh.
Sean, who has enjoyed a rather steady romance with Matilda, was left questioning Mimii’s bond with Josh and his decision to make the relationship exclusive just days after the pair appeared to be unsure of their connection with one another.
He hit out at the decision to make things “exclusive” and asked for it to “make sense” before Mimii said to him: “No one actually forced you to say anything.
“It seems like you have an issue?”
He hit back: “No, I don’t! It’s just the topic of conversation that we are talking about.”
Mimii begged him to “move on” as she shut down his comments.
Elsewhere, Sean also hit out at Mimii after she was exposed as trying to lure Ayo onto the villa’s terrace for a chat which Joey Essex labelled as “seductive”.
Questioning the star, Sean asked her: “What was the intention of the chat?”
Mimii went on to clarify that it was to speak “privately” after her antics during the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge.
Unhappy with Sean’s behaviour, fans were left insisting he was “bullying” the star and called upon production to step in.
Writing on X – formerly Twitter – one fan said: “What Sean is doing to Mimii, is sinister + it’s borderline bullying, people called Mitch, Tyrique, even Luca mean but Sean is a different breed, quite literally malicious, this is really nasty to watch + I hope Mimii will be ok.”
