THE world’s ‘best business class’ has been revealed with a state-of-the-art suite – which comfortably sleeps up to four flyers.
Qatar Airways showcased their Qsuite Next Gen seats, set to give the Boeing 777-9 aircraft a major facelift.
The stylish, ultra modern compartment is the epitome of luxury.
It boasts “more space, personalization and comfort than ever before”, with taller, digitally controlled sliding doors for added privacy.
The suit offers more chance for passengers travelling together to socialise, with two seats facing frontward and two rearward.
A manoeuvrable 4K OLED Panasonic Astrova IFE screen can be raised or lowered to open up the space a create a large table area.
To help create ambience, there are three different light settings that make eating, sleeping, chatting and reading practical.
If travellers wish to catch some shut eye, wider beds provide more luxury, and when both seats are fully reclined, they turn into a double bed.
This could be particularly helpful for those travelling with younger children, who want to be close to their parents – for comfort and safety.
The next gen suite also offers more storage space, with secure drawers, while advanced tech allows for wireless charging points.
Meanwhile, the two-flyer compartments, known as the Companion Suit offers similar perks.
Seats display the same configuration, facing each other with a dividing TV screen in the middle.
This is can be removed for face-to-face dining and general socialisation, whether it’s pals planning their first holiday night out, or couples excited about their dream vacation.
CEO Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer introduced the new Qsuite Next Gen seats alongside the airline’s AI-powered cabin crew member Sama.
The innovative suite was first launched in 2017, and is planned to elevate aircraft by 2025.

The Qsuite is currently on display at the Qatar Airways Discover Lounge in Hall 1 at the airshow until July 26.

The world’s best airline for 2024 has been revealed and I was lucky enough to fly with them.
Revealed by the annual Skytrax awards, Qatar Airways knocked Singapore Airlines off the top spot.
Winning the award for the 8th time, it also won Best Business Class, Best Business Class Lounge and the Best Airline in the Middle East
It was even named the best airline earlier this year by Airlineratings.com, knocking Air New Zealand off the top spot.

I flew with the airline last year, while travelling from London to Sri Lanka via Doha.
One stand out for me was the crew – they were extremely helpful and friendly while toeing the line of attentive and giving you space.
The planes are clean too, unlike other airlines where you’re likely to find an errant crisp or sticky table.
I was lucky enough to try it’s award-winning business class too, the QSuite.
Having flown in a number of other business classes with other airlines, I also understood why it is often named the best in the world.
One of the highlights was it’s closing door, which allows complete privacy.
Other airlines are now replicating this, but Qatar was one of the first to implement it in the airline industry.
Of course the main attraction is the lie flat bed, where even I, who struggles to sleep on planes, managed some shut eye.
It was also helped by the Do Not Disturb light and squishy purple blanket.
It’s safe to say that it’s clear why they keep winning best airline.
It comes as holidaymakers were shown inside the world’s biggest private jet.
The ultra-posh Boeing 747, dubbed the Flying Mansion, comes with a master suite and full bathroom.
And, travellers were left gobsmacked after they saw Etihad’s The Residence.
It has been nicknamed the world’s most expensive plane ticket, and boasts a double bed, shower and even a butler.
Meanwhile, another eye-watering private charter jet costs £43,000 per hour to charter.
The Crystal Skye is a converted Boeing 777 plane, which now seats 88 lucky fliers – compared to the usual 300 plus passenger.
