KARLIE Kloss has jetted across the world juggling Vogue cover shoots, haute couture runways, and reality TV hosting gigs.
But the supermodel told The U.S. Sun it’s been “trickier” to focus on herself since becoming a mom.
Karlie and her husband, Joshua Kushner, welcomed their oldest son, Levi, in March 2021.
Baby number two Elijah followed in July 2023.
“For me, becoming a parent has opened my heart, my life, and my understanding of and deep empathy for our collective human experience in more ways than I could’ve imagined,” the 31-year-old told The U.S. Sun.
But it’s also meant a different approach to staying healthy.
“My health and wellness needs have evolved over time,” she went on.
“What I need now as a mother is much different than what I needed when I was at the beginning of my career.
“Since becoming a mom of two, it’s trickier to find time to prioritize my wellness.
“I have two other humans to care for, so being efficient is the name of the game now.”
So it’s pretty apt timing that she’s just added yet another gig to her schedule: star of wellness brand Thorne’s latest campaign.
Taking supplements has become a staple of her daily routine.
“I multitask a ton all day long, so I like to start my mornings with my supplements and a smoothie to make sure I’m set up for success right off the bat,” she said.
Her go-tos include B Complex, which she said supports her nervous system and “promotes cellular energy production.”
“In other words, it helps promote an energetic body and mind,” she explained.
“I’m on the go all the time and constantly switching gears, so that’s extremely important to me.”
She also likes the brand’s Memoractiv to keep her “brain sharp” and support “overall health and mental capacity.”
“As I’ve become busier, I’ve become more and more aware of how important it is to make sure my health and wellness is up to par,” she said.
The Kode With Klossy founder also shared her tips for beating brain fog in a press release.
“Listen to your body,” she urged.
“When you feel brain fog coming on, take time to rest or power nap.
“If you can’t do that, feed your brain with the right foods like leafy greens, avocados, eggs, and salmon.”
Karlie’s also sharing more about her favorite products on Thorne’s website.
