EMMERDALE fans are convinced Kim Tate will have an explosive affair with much younger villager Billy Fletcher in the coming weeks.
Kim (Claire King) has become increasingly isolated from her family and soaps fans believe this will push her into the arms of Billy (Jay Kontzle).
Claire, 62, has been involved in some of Emmerdale’s biggest storylines over the years, and now she’s set to rick the village once more.
Over the last few weeks, her character Kim Tate has been at the centre of a dramatic storyline. As fans will recall, Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco), the ex of Kim’s current husband Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), recently rocked up in the village and has been causing problems for the couple.
Rose, who recently reconciled with her and Will’s daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley), is being blackmailed by Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) to take down Kim.
Things came to a head when Rose attempted to drug Will. But got the drinks muddled up and Dawn ended up with the spiked drink, which resulted in a serious car accident.
After Dawn revealed she knew she was spiked, Rose spun a web of lies as she framed Kim for the drugging. However, Dawn’s husband Billy came to Kim’s aid and defended her, as he didn’t believe she could have done it.
The situation was made worse when Rose roped her drug dealer into the scam to try to make Kim look guiltier.
With most of the family siding with Dawn and Rose, Kim has found herself growing closer to her only supporter, Billy. This has led fans to the conclusion that Kim and Billy will begin an illicit affair.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one soap fan said: “They should all f*** off and Billy to shack up with Kim, the Toy Boy and the Cougar!”
Despite the age gap between the pair, many fans are convinced Kim and Billy will be the village’s next secret romance.
“If I was Kim, I’d chuck that useless, pathetic husband of hers. Billy is the only loyal one there. Bets on them having an affair,” another fan said.
“Kim and Billy affair looms,” a third agreed, while a fourth said: “Hands up who wants a Billy and Queen Kim affair.”
“I reckon Kim should get it on with Billy and the 2 of them can tell Dawn, Will and Rose to go f*** themselves!” a fifth added.
Meanwhile, another soap fan pointed out that history is set to repeat. Long-time Emmerdale viewers will know that Kim previously had an affair with Dave Glover which rocked the village.
