The Sun Dream Team 2024-25 Game rules – for the United States

WE offer our classic Fantasy Game from The Sun Dream Team as well as additional games via the Website and Apps.

You can register for this season’s Game Year, which runs from 16 July 2024 until 18 June 2025.

This section includes specific terms for each Game and should be read alongside the General Terms & Conditions, the Loyalty Program Terms and the Privacy Policy; together, they form The Sun Dream Team Terms & Conditions that you are agreeing to.

All capitalised terms are defined in the Glossary, at the end of this document.

_____

SEASON FANTASY GAME

_____

SECTION 1.1 – DESCRIPTION

The Season Fantasy Game follows our classic The Sun Dream Team format, whereby a Manager picks a team of 11 Players with an initial game budget of $50m.

Players can be selected from the 20 English Premier League clubs and can be transferred in and out throughout the Fantasy Season.

Managers accumulate points each Gameweek based on the Player Points for the Players in its team during that Gameweek, based on performances in domestic and European competitions.

The main prize for the Fantasy Season Competition is awarded to the Manager of the team which finishes top of the Leaderboard by collecting the most points over the entire Fantasy Season.

There are also 10 runner-up prizes for the Fantasy Season Competition, and one cash prize for each Gameweek, as well as prizes for the top three managers in the Second Shot Leaderboard.

Managers also compete in club and national leaderboards, and can opt to join or create mini leagues to play against family, friends and colleagues.

SECTION 1.2 – HOW TO PLAY AND RULES

1.2.1 How to play

The Fantasy Game is available to play on the Website and Apps.

In order to submit a team to enter a team into the Fantasy Game 2024/25, you must be registered The Sun Dream Team 2024/25. To enter and win prizes, you must meet the eligibility criteria set out at Section 2.1 of the General Terms & Conditions.

1.2.2 Team Creation

1.2.2.1 Team limit

You can enter one (1) team in the Season Fantasy Game per Game Year only.

Under no circumstances are you permitted to enter or manage more than one (1) team, whether via additional email addresses owned by you or on behalf of any other person. Entering and/or managing more than one (1) team in the Game Year is considered a serious breach of these Games Rules. Should we have reasonable grounds to suspect that you have entered and/or are managing more than one (1) team, we reserve the right to close all of the relevant Accounts and/or void all of the teams that you have entered/managed and/or withhold or forfeit any prizes in respect of those teams.

We may disqualify you or your team(s) from the Game, or reject any team name if we believe your team name and/or Mini League name is inappropriate or offensive. Alternatively, we may (in our discretion) rename your team as we deem appropriate.

1.2.2.2 Initial budget

A team’s initial transfer budget will be $50m and thereafter will be calculated by the prevailing value of all the Players in your team, together with any unused funds in your player budget at the time.

A Player’s value may change throughout the Fantasy Season meaning that a team’s transfer budget will be affected by the performance of each Player in your team.

1.2.2.3 Unlimited transfers

If a Manager creates a team before the Fantasy Season has commenced, unlimited transfers can be made until the start of Gameweek 1 (GW1) at 8pm BST on 16 August 2024.

If a new team has been created after 8pm BST on 16 August 2024, unlimited changes can be made until the commencement of the subsequent Gameweek when point-scoring begins.

1.2.2.4 Number of players per club

There is no restriction on the number of Players in a team chosen from a single English Premier League club.

1.2.2.5 Formations

A team’s formation is determined by the Players selected and their respective positions.

For example: if a Manager has chosen a goalkeeper, four defenders, four midfielders and one striker, adding a midfielder will automatically set players in a 4-5-1 formation. In the same circumstance, choosing a striker last will set a 4-4-2 formation.

There are seven different formations available:

4-4-2
4-3-3
4-5-1
3-4-3
3-5-2
5-4-1
5-3-2

1.2.2.6 Captain and Vice-Captain

When creating a new team a Manager must nominate a Captain and a Vice-Captain.

The nominated Captain will earn double Player Points for each Eligible Match that he plays in during the next Gameweek.

If, for example, your nominated Captain earns 12 points in a Gameweek, the Manager will receive 24 points during that Gameweek. If there is more than one fixture for your Captain during a Gameweek, the aggregate points for that Player will be doubled.

Any negative scores are also doubled. If, for example, a Player who is Captain finishes a game with -3 points, he will record an adjusted score of -6.

If your selected Captain does not play in the relevant Gameweek, then your selected Vice-Captain will instead be awarded with double the Player Points for that Gameweek.

If neither of your selected Captain or Vice-Captain play in the relevant Gameweek, then no Player in your team will be awarded with double the Player Points for that Gameweek, unless you have played your Max Captain booster.

1.2.2.7 Naming a team

When creating a team you will be asked to give it a name (up to 25 characters).

You can change the team name at any time by going to ‘My Profile’ and selecting ‘Fantasy Team Name’.

As set out above, if we believe your team name is inappropriate or offensive, we reserve the right to change the name or disqualify you from the Game.

1.2.3 Leaderboards and Leagues

1.2.3.1 Leaderboard

Every Manager’s team is automatically entered into the Leaderboard and any competitions made available in conjunction with the Leaderboard.

The Leaderboard is used to determine the overall winner and 10 runners-up in our full-season competition – see 1.3.1.

1.2.3.2 Second Shot Leaderboard

Every Manager’s team is also automatically entered into the Second Shot Leaderboard (and any competitions made available in conjunction with the Second Shot Leaderboard), which runs from Friday 3 January 2025 (Gameweek 18) until the end of the Fantasy Season.

The Second Shot Leaderboard is used to determine the winner and two runners-up of the Second Shot competition – see 1.3.2.

1.2.3.3 Club and National leagues

Every Manager’s team is automatically entered into a ‘Club League’ and a ‘National League’, based on the Favourite Club and Country of Residence that was declared during the registration process.

It is not possible to switch from one Club League to another Club League or from one National League to another National League during the Fantasy Season.

We offer no prizes for Club Leagues or National Leagues.

1.2.3.4 Mini Leagues

Managers are able to create and join free Mini Leagues at any point during the Fantasy Season. Once successfully registered for the Game, you have the option to become a Mini League Chair or to join an existing Mini League.

Chairs can create either a Public or Private Mini League, as follows:

  • A Public Mini League is one that any Manager can join. These leagues do not require a PIN to enter and can be found via a search facility in the ‘Leagues’ section.
  • A Private Mini League is one that a Manager can only join if they have a unique PIN number for that Mini League or followed a link directly from an invitation.

We do not accept any responsibility or liability regarding monies exchanged between Managers of any Mini League.

1.2.3.5 Celebrity Mini Leagues

Celebrity Mini Leagues are Mini Leagues, created by or on behalf of celebrities or sports stars, which any Manager is free to join. Celebrity Mini Leagues do not require a PIN to enter and can be found via the search function on the Website and Apps.

We do not offer any prizes for Celebrity Mini Leagues.

1.2.3.6 Mini League scoring format

Managers’ teams are ranked against each other in the Mini Leagues, based on each team’s points accumulated during the Fantasy Season.

1.2.3.7 Creating Mini Leagues

There is no limit to the number of Mini Leagues a Manager can create.

A Chair can create a Mini League at any time up until the start of the last Gameweek of the Fantasy Season.

Every Mini League will end on completion of the final Eligible Match of the Fantasy Season.

All Mini Leagues created before the Fantasy Season kicks off will default to start scoring from Gameweek 1. However, a Chair can select any future Gameweek for scoring to start up until the final Gameweek of the Fantasy Season.

Any Mini Leagues created after the start of Gameweek 1 will start scoring from the Gameweek selected by the Chair.

Upon creation of a Mini League a Chair will need to set the following criteria:

  • League name – a name can be up to 40 characters together with a description. The Promoter reserves the right to change any name deemed inappropriate or offensive or, in extreme cases, to remove the league and expel the Chair.
  • Privacy setting – select whether it is a Public Mini League or a Private Mini League.
  • Max number of teams – by default this is unlimited but it can be restricted.

1.2.3.8 Joining a Mini League

A Manager may join a Public Mini League without any invitation. This can be done via the search facility available in the ‘League’ section. No PIN is required to join.

To join a Private Mini League you will need to be invited by the Chair or be issued with the unique PIN of that Private Mini League. Managers who follow the invite link from a direct invitation will not be required to enter the PIN.

There is no limit to the number of Mini Leagues a team can join.

Teams can join a Mini League after scoring has commenced. An existing team’s total points earned before joining will be added to their league points immediately. Newly created teams will begin on zero points.

1.2.3.9 Removing teams from a Mini League

Chairs may remove Managers from a Mini League at any time, before or after scoring has started. We accept no responsibility for the removal of any Managers from a Mini League and cannot reinstate any Managers who have been removed from a Mini League.

A Manager may remove themselves from a Mini League. However, Chairs cannot remove themselves from a Mini League if they are the only Manager remaining.

A Mini League cannot be deleted.

1.2.3.10 Team position in Leaderboards and Mini Leagues

Where more than one team has the same amount of total points in a Leaderboard or Mini League, the team with the highest points gained in the current Gameweek will be ranked higher.

If those Gameweek points are also equal, the team with the highest total of Goals Scored will be ranked higher.

If the Goals Scored tally is the same, the team which was submitted first for the Fantasy Game will be ranked higher.

1.2.4 Scoring

1.2.4.1 Player Points

Player scores include normal time and extra time but excludes penalty shoot-outs. For the avoidance of doubt, no Player Points will be awarded or deducted for any action during a penalty-shoot, including but not limited to scored/missed penalties, saved penalties and yellow/red cards.

Player scores are based on data provided by OPTA. Player Points are awarded as follows:

All playersPoints
Goal scored+6
Shot on target+1
Big chance created+1
Tackle+1 per 2 tackles
Appearance (up to 60 minutes)+1
Appearance (60 minutes or more)+1
Assist+3

Goalkeepers onlyPoints
Save+1 per 2 saves
Penalty save+3
Goalkeepers & defendersPoints
Clean sheet (minimum 60min played)+5
2 goals conceded-1
Each goal conceded over 2 goals-1

1.2.4.2 Player Points explained

Appearance: 1 point is awarded to a Player who is on the pitch for up to 60 minutes, with a further point awarded for playing 60 minutes or more (during normal or extra-time but excluding stoppage/injury time). As such, each Player starting a match is automatically awarded 1 point, and will earn an additional point if still on the pitch on 60 minutes. Used substitutes will earn 1 or 2 points depending on how long they play. Added time is not counted.

Assist: 3 points are awarded to a Player if they make a pass or final touch leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. An Assist can include an action which leads directly to a penalty awarded to the Player’s team which is subsequently scored (but not if the penalty scorer is the same Player who obtained the penalty) or an own goal by the opposition. Points for assists are only awarded to a Player from the goal-scoring team.

Big Chance Created: 1 point is awarded to a Player who creates a chance for another Player who would reasonably be expected to score. For example, creation of a one-on-one scenario or a close range opportunity when the ball has a clear path to goal and there is low to moderate pressure on the shooter or winning a penalty.

Bookings: if a Player receives a yellow card and subsequently receives a ‘straight’ red card in that same match, a total of 3 points will be deducted from the Player’s score. The Player will not have points deducted for both the yellow card and the red card. Two yellow cards leading to a red card will score as one red card (-3 points). Points deducted for yellow and red cards that are subsequently overruled will not be reinstated in the Game. Substitutes who do not play at any time in an Eligible Match but are cautioned while ‘on the bench’ will not be deducted points. However, deductions will apply if that Player subsequently plays any part in that Eligible Match.

Clean Sheet: goalkeepers and defenders will be awarded 5 points for keeping a clean sheet, if they have played 60 minutes or more (excluding stoppage/injury time) and did not concede a goal whilst on the pitch.

Goal Conceded: goalkeepers and defenders will be deducted 1 point if their team concedes two goals whilst they’re on the pitch, and a further point for each subsequent goal conceded. A player who has been red-carded will be penalised for goals conceded if his team concedes goals even after he has left the game.

Goal Scored: 6 points will be awarded to a Player for scoring for their own team, excluding those scored in penalty shoot-outs.

Own Goal Scored: 2 points will be deducted for a Player scoring an own goal.

Penalties: 6 points will be awarded to a Player for scoring a penalty. However, he will be deducted 3 points if he does not score directly from the penalty spot. Excludes penalty shoot-outs in respect of which no points will be awarded or deducted.

Saves: 1 point will be awarded to a goalkeeper for every two saves in regular play – e.g., 2 points for four or five saves. He will receive +3pts for saving a penalty (but not if the penalty is not on target – e.g., it hits the post or misses the target).  Excludes penalty shoot-outs in respect of which no points will be awarded or deducted.

Shot on Target: 1 point will be awarded to a Player for every shot on target, which is defined as any goal attempt that goes into the net regardless of intent or is a clear attempt to score that would have gone into the net but for being saved by the goalkeeper or is stopped by a player who is the last-man with the goalkeeper having no chance of preventing the goal (last line block). Shots directly hitting the woodwork are not counted as shots on target, unless the ball goes in and is awarded as a goal.

Tackles: 1 point will be awarded to a Player for every two successful tackles made by that Player (e.g. no points are awarded for one tackle, 1 point for two tackles, 2 points for four tackles and so on). A tackle is defined as where a Player connects with the ball in a ground challenge where he successfully takes the ball away from the Player in possession. The tackled Player must clearly be in possession of the ball before the tackle is made. It is not a tackle when a Player intercepts a pass.

1.2.4.3 Bonus Points: in addition to the Player Points set out above, a Player can earn Bonus Points based on the amount of Player Performance Marks that they earn in an Eligible Match as follows:

PPMsBonus points
0-40
5-7+1
8-11+3
12++5

1.2.4.4  Player Performance Marks

PPMs (Player Performance Marks) are awarded as follows:

All playersPPM
Successful dribble+1
Accurate cross+1
Offside-1
Pass completion rate* (70-80%)+1
Pass completion rate* (80-90%)+2
Pass completion rate* (90%+)+3
Interception+1
Block+1
Goal outside of the penalty area+1
Foul won+1
Foul conceded-1
Error leading to goal-2
Goalkeepers onlyPPM
Successful claim+1
Successful punch+1
Keeper sweep+1

*Minimum number of passes required to be awarded pass completion rate PPMs is 25 passes

1.2.4.5 Player Performance Marks explained

Accurate Cross: 1 PPM is awarded when a Player intentionally plays a ball from a wide position which reaches a team-mate in an area in front of the goal.

Block: 1 PPM is awarded when a Player blocks a shot from an opposing player which is on target.

Error leading to goal: 2 PPMs are deducted when a Player makes a mistake which leads to the opposition scoring.

Foul Won: 1 PPM is awarded to a Player for each Foul Won, defined as winning a free kick or penalty for their team after being fouled by an opposing player.

Foul Conceded: 1 PPM is deducted when a Player commits an infringement where the referee awards a free-kick or penalty.

Goal outside of the area: 1 PPM is awarded when a Player scores a goal from outside the penalty area.

Keeper Sweeps: 1 PPM is awarded each time a goalkeeper anticipates danger and rushes off their line to try to either cut out an attacking pass (in a race with the opposition player) or to close-down an opposition player. In order for a PPM to be awarded, all of the following must have occurred:

  • the goalkeeper rushes out to at least the edge of their own penalty area;
  • there must be at least some pressure from an opposition player racing towards the ball; and
  • the goalkeeper reacts quickly and reads the play.

Interceptions: 1 PPM is awarded when a Player reads an opponent’s pass and intercepts the ball by moving into the line of the intended pass.

Offside: 1 PPM is deducted if a Player is deemed to be in an offside position where a free kick is awarded. (If two or more Players are in an offside position when the pass is played, the Player considered to be most active and trying to play the ball is given offside.)

Pass Completion Rate: Up to 3 PPMs are awarded to Players depending on their Pass Completion Rate at the end of the match (or when substituted off), provided that they have attempted at least 25 passes. The rate is calculated as a percentage by dividing the number of ‘successful passes’ made by a Player by the total attempted passes by that Player. (A successful pass is a pass which goes to a teammate directly, without a touch from an opposition player, not including throw-ins, keeper throws or crosses). The applicable PPMs is based on the pass completion rate percentages set out in the table above.

Successful Claims: 1 PPM is awarded if a high ball played into the penalty area is caught by the goalkeeper.

Successful Dribble: 1 PPM is awarded when a Player beats an opponent while retaining possession of the ball.

Successful Punch: 1 PPM is awarded if a high ball is punched clear by the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper must have a clenched fist and attempting to clear the high ball rather than claim it.

1.2.4.6 Scoring updates

Scoring updates will apply to all Eligible Matches commencing on or after 16 August 2024 and continuing throughout the 2024/25 Season that any English Premier League club plays in, including the English Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup (also known as the EFL Cup), and these UEFA competitions from group stages onwards: Champions League, Europa League, the UEFA Conference League.

The following fixtures are NOT Eligible Matches: all international competition matches, Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup and qualifying and pre-group play-off matches in the Champions League, the Europa League and the UEFA Conference League.

Player Points are automatically generated and updated on the Website and Apps during each Eligible Match and for a period of 12 hours following the relevant Eligible Match, based on match data provided by Opta. No further Player Points will be applied after this time, except where delays have occurred due to technical issues. Any such updates shall be applied in the Promoter’s sole discretion.

We will take reasonable care to ensure that points (which are calculated based on information supplied from OPTA) will be finalised and applied based on the live information received by us but we reserve the right to make changes where it is subsequently determined that the point should have been allocated differently and our decision shall be final.

If any Eligible Match is abandoned for any reason then that Eligible Match will cease to be treated as an Eligible Match for the purposes of the Game. If the match is replayed then the replay will be treated as an Eligible Match.

If an Eligible Match is completed and then a governing body subsequently determines that all of the Eligible Match is to be replayed, then only the replayed match will be deemed an Eligible Match and the original Eligible Match will be disregarded. The decisions of the official ‘Goal Accreditation Panel’ will not be taken into account.

Players transferred or loaned from one Premier League club to another Premier League club will continue to score Player Points for the purposes of the Game and will be considered to be a Player at the new Premier League club.

Any Player transferred from one Premier League club to a non-Premier League club will have his points total frozen in the Game and will only resume scoring in the Game should he re-join a Premier League club.

The decision of the Promoter in all points scoring matters shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

1.2.5 Managing Your Team

1.2.5.1 Gameweeks

The Fantasy Season is split up into a number of scoring periods known as Gameweeks.

A team’s weekly score will be calculated by reference to the total score earned from the Players in your team during all Eligible Matches in that Gameweek.

Gameweek 1 (GW1) commences at the scheduled kick-off time of the first Eligible Match, which is 8pm (BST) on 16th August 2024.

Subsequent Gameweeks will commence 90 minutes before the start of the first Eligible Match of that Gameweek and shall continue until the next Gameweek commences or, at the end of the season, until the final Eligible Match of the final Gameweek.

The Gameweek Deadline for the next Gameweek is shown on the ’My Team’ section under the ‘Manage Team’ tab.

1.2.5.2 Gameweek calendar

Gameweek 1 (GW1) commences at 8pm (BST) on 16 August 2024, at the scheduled start of the Premier League season.

Subsequent Gameweeks will commence 90 minutes before the start of the first Eligible Match of that Gameweek.

The final Gameweek will conclude at the end of the UEFA Champions League final which is scheduled to take place on 31 May 2025.

1.2.5.3 Transfer allowance and rollovers

Each Manager is allocated 2 transfers for each Gameweek.

If a Manager does not make any transfers during a Gameweek, then 1 transfer is rolled over to the following Gameweek.

If a Manager makes 1 or more transfers, no transfers are rolled over to the next Gameweek.

If a Manager does not make any transfers for 2 consecutive Gameweeks they will have a total of 4 available transfers. 4 transfers is the maximum allowance. If a Manager does not make any transfers for 3 consecutive Gameweeks, they will still have a total of 4 available transfers.

1.2.5.4 Weekly deadline

Player transfers and other changes will be applied at the start of each new Gameweek, 90 minutes before kick-off of the first Eligible Match of the relevant Gameweek. For the avoidance of doubt, Gameweek 1 (GW1) will commence at 8pm (BST) on 16th August 2024, and changes can be made until this time.

All transfers, boosters selections and captain/vice-captain changes must be made before the Gameweek Deadline for the relevant Gameweek.

At this point, all pending changes (e.g., transfers, Captain and Vice-Captain selection and/or Booster activation) are applied, Player Scores on the ‘My Points’ screen are reset to zero for the new Gameweek and any Price Updates are applied.

Any changes on the ‘Manage Team’ page made after this point will be applied at the beginning of the next Gameweek.

1.2.5.5 Reversing transfers

Transfers can be undone until the start of a new Gameweek using the ‘Undo’ button on the ‘Manage Team’ page.

The ‘Undo’ button reverts a team to the status at the beginning of the Gameweek, cancelling any transfers made.

1.2.5.6 Player value changes

Before the start of the Fantasy Season, we will compile a select list of Premier League Players from each of the 20 Premier League clubs for you to choose from.

Each Player will be given a fantasy value based on a number of factors, including the previous season’s performances and their point-scoring potential.

The Promoter will seek to introduce new Players to the Player List throughout the season as new Players join the league or as performance deserves.

If you transfer out a Player who has increased in value since you purchased him you will be able to transfer in a new Player of equal value or less than the value of the outgoing Player at the time that you make the transfer, in addition to any spare unspent funds in your player budget.

If you transfer out a Player who has decreased in value since you purchased him then you can only transfer in a Player of equal value or less than the value of the outgoing Player at the time that you make the transfer, in addition to any spare unspent funds in your player budget.

At the beginning of each Gameweek, we will update the value of your team’s Players and show this in your team as well as in the Stats section on the Website and the Apps.

1.2.5.7 Price updates

Over the course of a season a Player’s value may change based on their point-scoring performance.

At the end of each Gameweek the Promoter will evaluate each Player’s point scoring performance against what was expected and may calculate a new value (increase, decrease or remain unchanged) (“Price updates”).

The revised value for each Player will be applied and published on the Website and the Apps at the beginning of a new Gameweek.

The maximum that a Player’s value may increase or decrease per Gameweek is $0.3m.

The first round of Price Updates will take place after the completion of Gameweek 1 and thereafter until completion of the Fantasy Season.

The Promoter will not enter into any correspondence relating to Price Updates.

1.2.5.8 Changing Captain and Vice-Captain

The nominated Captain and Vice-Captain can be changed ahead of the start of each new Gameweek.

If you do not make a change, your Captain and Vice-Captain selection from the preceding Gameweek will continue to apply.

If you transfer out a Captain or Vice-Captain, the incoming Player will automatically be made Captain or Vice-Captain (as applicable), but the selection can be changed at any time prior to the Gameweek Deadline for the next Gameweek.

There is no limit to the number of times you can select any Player as Captain or Vice-Captain throughout the Fantasy Season.

For further information on Captains & Vice-Captains see 1.2.2.5.

1.2.5.9 Boosters

Each Manager has three Boosters available to activate at any point during each Fantasy Season.

The Booster impacts the Player Points for all Eligible Matches during the relevant Gameweek.

Each Booster may be selected and used once only. Only one Booster can be activated in a Gameweek. A chosen Booster can be deselected or changed prior to the Gameweek Deadline.

Goal Bonus – When Goal Bonus is activated, each goal scored by your Players in that Gameweek will score 9 points, instead of 6 points, except your Captain (or Vice-Captain if your Captain does not feature in the Eligible Match) who will score 18 points.

12th Man – When the 12th Man is activated, the Manager is able to add an additional Player to the team who will earn Players Points for the Gameweek in which this Booster is activated.

The additional Player can be of any value and in any position. However, he cannot be nominated as Captain or Vice-Captain.

Max Captain – When Max Captain is activated, the Player with the highest Player Points in the team at the end of the Gameweek is retrospectively made Captain and is awarded double Player Points.

If two or more Players have the same Player Points total at the end of the Gameweek, the player who reached the total first is declared Max Captain.

When Max Captain is in play, the Captain and Vice-Captain feature is automatically disabled and then reinstated for the following Gameweek.

1.2.5.10 Players who leave the league

If a Player leaves the English Premier League, permanently or temporarily – for example, retires or is loaned to a club in another league – he will no longer earn Player Points.

A Player who has left the league will not be available for selection from the player pool.

If previously selected by a Manager, the Player will remain in the team and shown with a black shirt and “N/A” until transferred out.

The game presents a sequence of up to 15 pairs of players – named, with an image – from the English Premier League.

A key statistic from a specific Premier League season, such as number of goals scored, clean sheets or completed passes in 2023/24, is given for one of the players.

The user must select if the second player’s corresponding attributes are higher or lower.

If the answer is correct, the second Premier League player remains on the screen and the user is asked to compare him against a new player.

If the answer is incorrect, the user is shown a yellow card, ending the scoring streak, before being shown the next pairing.

A second incorrect answer results in a red card and elimination from that day’s game.

The statistic and players are updated each day.

3.2.3 Point scoring

Experience Points (XP) are awarded for streaks of correct answers. For more information on XP points, see Loyalty Program.

Correct answer streak XP
5+1
10+3
15+5

A yellow or red card, awarded for an incorrect answer, ends a streak.

A streak of correct answers must be recorded in a single daily quiz, not over multiple days.

A user can gain a maximum of 5 XP from Higher or Lower? each day.
