A single mum shared her go-to haircare product for anyone hoping to tame their frizz in a hurry.

Commenting on a Reddit post, user Pantojajaja revealed her top tip for other busy mums with little time to wash their hair.

She explained that “showering is a luxury” given her busy household and that she had to cut some steps out of her beauty routine.

“I used to have so many creams for tons of things,” the poster recalled.

However, with her hectic lifestyle, she had to find a one-stop product that tackled all her hair problems.

The Redditor revealed that she now uses argan oil for “everything” in her routine.

“I put a few drops of it on my hair, mostly on the ends, fresh out of the shower and that’s enough to make my hair dry curly and wavy without any frizz,” she said.

The poster described the budget-friendly product as a “life saver” for more than just her hair.

“I use argan oil as a moisturizer fresh out of the shower,” she added.

As well as adding it to her own hair and skin, the Reddit user also applies the product to her daughter’s locks.

“I also add a drop or two to my toddler’s hair after a bath and her curls pop,” she explained.

According to the experts, the oil regulate sebum production on the scalp.

This process helps to lock in moisture, especially when applied to damp hair.

It also recommended for use on coily Type 4 hair, which is typically drier than straighter locks.

An easy trick to work out whether you have cool, warm or neutral undertones is to check the veins on your wrist – if they look blue, you have cool undertones, if they’re green, you have warm and if they’re a mix you have neutral. 
• Skipping heat protector: It might feel unnecessary, but much like sun damage on the skin, excess heat is the most common cause of hair damage. So, if you want shiny, healthy hair, or you’re trying to grow it longer, using a heat protection product is key. 
• Not washing your face before bed: it’s as simple as this, if you’re not washing your face before you go to sleep, everything that’s been on your skin during the day is sitting there for even longer, clogging your pores and drying out the surface. Any skincare applied on top isn’t going to be effective with a layer of dirt underneath, and you’re probably going to end up with dirty pillows too – yuck!

She recommended opting for “any oil with similar consistency” when it comes to haircare.
