FASHIONISTAS have been teleported ”back to 2000s” after spotting a once-popular brand on the high street.
From kitten heels to low-rise denim, and even the ugly disc belt, a number of noughties trends have made a comeback in the recent years.
To keep up with the growing appetite for Y2K style, TK Maxx, too, have launched a series of 2000s-inspired garments – and their latest addition has sent fashion fans into a frenzy.
The incredible find was recently spotted by one customer of then retailer only known as Sedz (@sedz98xo), who took to TikTok to inform fellow style lovers.
”Tkmaxx went hard asf [as f**k],” said Sedz who’f stumbled across a whole range of the iconic Juicy Couture gear.
Yes, the cult favourite velour tracksuit bottoms and zip-up hoodies are back – so you can unleash your inner Paris Hilton, who once claimed to have owned 100 of the super soft garments.
Although these aren’t necessarily the most chic or revolutionary fashion items, for many shoppers the velour gear screams nostalgia – and it’s no surprise TikTok users are obsessed.
In her video, Sedz also showed fashionistas some of the iconic bargains she’d stumbled across, including an array of stylish pink bags in different designs.
TK Maxx shoppers can choose between a more simple Barbie pink tote bag or opt for a more louder number, such as a soft velour mini purse with the iconic logo and adorable handles.
Meanwhile, in terms of clothing, Sedz saw a very cute set of their signature tracksuits in a gorgeous cream shade.
This featured a golden zipper, as well as a hood and a two-pocket styling and embroidered detailing – what better way to lounge in a comfortable set whilst catching up on the Love Island drama?
This stunning little number would also be perfect to run your errands in style – much like Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey did in the early 2000s.
There’s also something for beauty lovers – two different make-up bags to complete your Juicy Couture kit and store all your essentials in.
Like many of us, Sedz couldn’t resist purchasing a bargain from the store, walking out with ”the biggest handbag”.
The massive tote, complete with sleek handles for comfortable wear on the shoulders, also came with a silver pouch for smaller items, as well as the iconic print inside.
To match the OTT theme, the inner lining, too, was blinding silver and contained the signature emblem on one side.
As demonstrated by the lucky shopper, who’d spotted the goodies in the Ealing Broadway branch in London, the show-stopper of a tote also came with a stylish keychain attached to it.
”Don’t walk, RUN to TK Maxx,” the trendy fashionista said in the clip showcasing the offers.

Just the mention of it takes everyone back to when Y2K fashion was all the rage. What started as a fashion fad quickly turned into a timeless classic, before being banished was wardrobes, and then making a stellar comeback.
Juicy Couture was founded in 1997 by designers Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, with the aim of creating casual yet luxurious clothing for women.
In 2001, the iconic velour tracksuit was introduced and it quickly became a sensation in the fashion world. The tracksuit was made from soft velour fabric and featured the brand’s signature “J” zipper pull and the word “Juicy” embroidered on the back. Everyone wanted to be seen wearing one.
Its influence also extended beyond the fashion industry, making appearances in popular movies and TV shows, including “Mean Girls,” “Legally Blonde,” and “The Sopranos”.
And then there was everyone in Hollywood wearing it – from Paris Hilton and Britney Spears to Jennifer Lopez. One of the most iconic moments in Juicy Couture’s history was when Madonna wore a custom-made velour tracksuit during her “Confessions” tour in 2006.
But when the Juicy Couture tracksuit became too popular – it fell out of favour. Only to make a comeback in recent years with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton making it fashionable again when they modelled Skims velour tracksuits.
Needless to say, the return of the Hollywood-loved brand has been more than welcome amongst high street shoppers, as over 230k people viewed the clip.
Hundreds flocked to comments to share their thoughts, as well as tag their fashion-obsessed friends.
One shared their monster haul, writing: ”i’ve got the juicy couture suitcase from tkmaxx and i bought the dark pink and light pink makeup bag.”
Another experienced a blast from the past, joking: ”Wow I feel like I’ve gone straight back to 2000s.”
”I can’t believe this is back in fashion what a throwback,” a third was gobsmacked.
”The big pink bag , that’s the summer bag FR [for real] I had to purchase QUICK,” someone else chimed in.
