BARGAIN-obsessed shoppers are going wild after snapping up a children’s summer toy for a fraction of the price.
One eagle-eyed Argos customer could not believe their luck after they spotted a large chalkboard marked down from such a significant price.
The Chad Valley wooden easel and chalkboard usually retails for £115 but one savvy shopper spotted it was now available to buy for £34.50.
A post on the Extreme Bargains and Coupons Facebook page read: “Absolute insane bargain.”
Fans were quick to chime and thank the deal hunter for advertising the find.
“Thank you, just the one for my son’s nursery,” one user wrote.
“Cute to pop away,” another wrote as they planned to store the item away ahead of Christmas.
The Chad Valley toy is suitable for children aged three years or older and features a double-sized blackboard.
The product remains available to buy on the Argos website and in some physical stores.

Argos has been ramping up savings on its products this summer.
Earlier this week, The Sun reported the homeware to electronics retailer had extended its huge summer sale with discounts of up to 50% off.

The retailer is also selling a TV unit for half price, now costing £130, down from £260.
Another product at half price is a boutique coffee table that costs £55, down from £110.
On top of the sale, there’s also a clearance section on the retailer’s website where you can find some useful items at discounted prices.
One of the items in the clearance section is a two-seater metal garden swing chair priced at £179, down from £239.
It is not just Argos which is offering savings this summer.
M&S is running a 40% off sale on everything from women’s clothing to sporting items both online and in-store.
Homebase is also offering shoppers up to 50% off cushions and throws as part of its big summer sale until July 17.
When hunting for a deal it is important to shop around to make sure you are not being over charged.
There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.
For example, Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
Price Spy also logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets.
Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.
Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.
