FANS of The One Show were already left missing their daily fix last week, and tonight will be more of the same as it is taken off air.
The chat show was previously scrapped for a week as the BBC made space for rolling coverage of Wimbledon 2024.
The One Show will not be airing tonight[/caption] The talk show is usually available on BBC One at 7pm[/caption] However recently it has been replaced by Wimbledon coverage a few times[/caption]Tonight The One Show will be replaced by live tennis footage on BBC One, and reality show The Bidding Room on BBC Two.
Usually if The One Show is bumped from its 7pm slot on BBC One it gets moved to BBC Two instead.
But tonight the series fronted by former Corrie star Nigel Havers will take its place.
The Bidding Room showcases the battle between five antique dealers as they try to win items being auctioned off by the public.
In every episode, Brits hand over one of their personal treasures to an appraiser who estimates how much it is worth.
Then they present the item to a panel of five dealers, who each try to become the highest bidder – or in some cases, haggle the price down.
The series has seen some truly unique items flogged to antiques dealers, including an Edwardian vibrator and a life sized ceramic sheep.
However, fans of The One Show will still be upset to hear it has been taken off screens for the night.
Meanwhile on BBC One, Clare Balding will be in charge of keeping viewers up to date with all the tennis action.
The veteran presenter returns to the airwaves as the likes of Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz compete to win the Wimbledon trophy.
