The award is an “annual award ceremony where TUI, on behalf of its more than 19 million guests worldwide, recognise and celebrate the hotels in its portfolio which have delivered outstanding service and quality during the past year.”
The hotels on the top 100 list are selected by evaluating feedback provided by TUI hotel guests. Here are the three resorts in the Balearic Islands that made the list:
Found in the village of Cala San Vicente in Majorca, the four-star Grupotel Molins has direct access to the pretty Molins Beach.
The hotel’s standout feature is the pool on a terrace, offering amazing views of the sea and surrounding cliffs.
The on-site restaurant serves both international and local Majorcan specialities while the hotel bar also has some amazing sunset views.
Most of the rooms come with free WiFi and flat-screen TVs and some have private balconies with sea views too.
The hotel even boasts a 4.5/5 rating on Tripadvisor with more than 900 reviews.
Palma Nova is often described as the calmer version of Magaluf on the southwest coast of Majorca.
Although the beaches are the main attraction, there’s plenty to keep you occupied away from the sands, with a promenade lined with bars and restaurants.
In fact, according to TUI, location is the “major selling point” of Hotel Son Matias Beach, as it’s a stone’s throw from bars, restaurants, shops and the beach.
The rooms all have balconies overlooking the sea. They also have air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a TV, and a mini-fridge.
Along with a kidney bean-shaped pool and whirlpool, the hotel puts on daily games and quizzes for those looking to do more than sunbathing.

With views of both the Mediterranean Sea and the S’Albufera Natural Park, there is also a huge lagoon-style swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and parasols.
Watersports enthusiasts can enjoy windsurfing, kayaking, and sailing, or try out the the indoor pool with a hot tub and spa that has a Turkish bath and Greeke therme room.
The restaurant offers a fancy breakfast option with champagne and caviar on offer, or dinners with both Med classics and themed food nights, such as Majorcan and Spanish.
For more inspiration, there’s a hotel in Rhodes voted ‘best in the world’ by TUI – with two infinity pools and just one minute from the beach.
For a summer holiday, last-minute package holidays to the Greek islands can still be found for £237 each — here’s how.
Meanwhile, Disney World’s ‘best sale of the year’ is back, with free dining, drinks and 14-day tickets for the price of 7.
