CELEBS Go Dating has been left in chaos after a star was rushed to hospital with a serious illness.
Ella Morgan has been hospitalised after falling ill ‘with a mystery illness’.
The Sun can exclusively reveal Channel 4 bosses working on Celebs Go Dating have released Ella from filming duties as she receives medical treatment.
Ella, who shot to fame on Married at First Sight last year, remains in hospital receiving treatment.
The Sun understands Ella is now in a stable condition after medics rushed to treat her.
A source said: “Ella began to feel unwell last week and was really struck down by the illness.
“She felt so bad she took time away from social media but her condition continued to deteriorate.
“After being rushed to A&E Ella was admitted to hospital and her family and friends have rallied around her.
“Filming for Celebs Go Dating has been halted in the meantime as bosses scramble to put a plan together.
“Ella was a dream booking and considered the star of the series by producers and everything remains up in the air right now but they know her health comes first.”
The Sun has contacted Channel 4 and Lime Pictures for comment.
Previously hinting at her health woes, Ella told fans on Instagram on Saturday: “Taking a short little insta break, I have never been so ill in all my life. I need rest then I’ll be back with good content, hopefully if I make it!”
Ella made headlines when she snogged EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier at this year’s Bafta TV awards.
The intimate moment came after her legs gave way on the red carpet at the Royal Festival Hall after she overheated.
Explaining what happened on Instagram after her ordeal, she wrote: “To everyone asking how I am after my Baftas ‘collapsing’ incident…
“I am perfectly OK now, I was just very hot, my body had overheated and felt weak, I hadn’t eaten enough or drank enough that was all, hence why I was very light headed and felt faint.
“I was fine after I’d seen the medic, sat down, and been checked over!”
