Zoe (Garcia Brown) discovers that the bullet used to shoot Warren (Jamie Lomas) has blue paint residue on it.
With this information, Warren is convinced that the gangster Blue is Freddie (Charlie Clapham).
He becomes increasingly erratic, which alarms Norma (Glynis Barber).
Despite promising Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) that his priority is her and the twins, Warren is seen torching a van.
What lengths will he go to in order to stop Blue from threatening his family?
Ste (Kieron Richardson) is terrified as he faces being jailed for accidentally killing Ella during the car crash.
Rashly telling James that his marriage is over, Ste impulsively hooks up with Rex (Jonny Labey) in the toilets before his sentencing.
Meanwhile, James’ suspicions are raised Rex’s arrival in the village and what exactly Ste is up to, when he had sworn off working for Warren.
Donny (Louis Emerick) and Misbah (Harvey Virdi) find house-sharing comes naturally to them, with evident chemistry.
At first glance, Donny seems to be a lover, not a fighter and sweeps Misbah off her feet with his love of music and shared interests.
But is all as it seems? As Donny has a particular interest in some characters in the village.
Vicky (Anya Lawrence) has inherited her dad’s charm, while seeming to have an eye for Ethan (Matthew James-Bailey).

Rex and Ste are following Warren’s orders to get rid of Freddie.
After Freddie finds himself compromised tied to a staircase, things get worse as Rex attempts to drown him in the bath.
What he’s not banking on is Grace’s arrival, who orders them to get off her husband.
In addition, Frankie (Isabelle Smith) has had enough of being abused mentally and sexually by her sibling JJ (Ryan Malvey), in the increasingly tense Osborne house.
Having been planning a summer away, Frankie has to change her plans leaving her angry and desperate.
Frankie forms a bond with her Uncle Freddie’s wife Grace (Tamara Wall), while her confidence grows.
Meanwhile, when JJ falls ill at the Osborne’s and there is no-one to help him, Frankie walks away…
After the arrival of gardener Jez (Jeremy Sheffield), the Blake sisters are grappling with the shock and reacting in different ways.
Maxine (Nikki Sanderson) is left reeling by his likeness to Patrick (also played by Jeremy Sheffield), her abuser.

After increasingly self-medicating, Diane starts her birthday hungover, sending her reaching for a hair of the dog.
By the time her surprise party comes around, Diane is in a bad place and her subsequent outburst is heart-breaking as she hurts both herself and Ro.
