SUPERMARKET icon Morrisons are set to leave shoppers overjoyed by offering out free doughnuts and jacket potatoes for the next two weeks.
To celebrate their 125th anniversary stores across the UK are treating customers to the tasty treats at no extra cost – here’s exactly how to get one.
Shoppers will be able to bag themselves a free jam doughnut when they purchase any hot drink in a Morrisons Cafe up until Sunday July 14.
Drinks can include a pot of tea shared between loved ones, a scrumptious hot chocolate or even a morning pick-me-up with a coffee.
Freshly baked daily by Morrisons expert bakers, the doughnuts are a favourite amongst customers.
One of the reasons for the jam doughnuts being offered are because of their soaring popularity.
Last year, shoppers ate over 69 million doughnuts from Morrisons bakeries – all of which add up to the same weight as 250 cars.
Becky Wilson, Cafe Buyer at Morrisons, said: “There is no better way to celebrate our 125th anniversary than by treating our customers to one of our most iconic Market Street products – our freshly baked doughnuts.
“So delicious, they often don’t make it out of the car park! Simply pop into a local Morrisons Café, pick up any hot drink and tuck into a free jam doughnut on us.”
Also available throughout the first two weeks of July is a free jacket potato topped with Heinz Cheesy Beanz.
Morrisons is partnering with Heinz to bring back the “Ask For Henry” initiative.
It will see anyone who mentions “Henry” to a cafe member being given the warm treat for free.
Customers can use the code word through phrases like “Is Henry here?”, “Can I have a Henry?”, “Can I ask for Henry?” or similar expressions.
The offer aims to provide some financial relief to customers as the school holiday begin to near and the weather warms up.
The initiative first started in 2022 and returned in 2023 as tens of thousands of customers jumped at the chance.

“We know that the busy summer months can add to customers’ financial pressures, especially with extra mouths to feed, so we’re pleased to be partnering with Heinz and offering this delicious meal.”

Throughout the month several other offers and activities are set as Morrisons celebrates their 125th birthday.
This will include the chance for Morrisons More Card members to become a More Points Millionaire as well as a chance to participate in the biggest ever ‘Basket Bonus’.
They have also announced a plan to launch a £1m charitable fund to enhance community spaces across the UK.
THERE are plenty of ways to save on your grocery shop.
