Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis has added to the anticipation for next year.
In an interview with the Glastonbury Free Press she said that she and her dad Michael were already future planning.
They confirmed that the festival would take a year off in 2026 to “give the land a rest”.
“The festival before a fallow year is always a fun one to plan because you almost have to fit two years into one.
“We’re already in talks with some acts for it. It’s exciting.”
Over on Reddit, fans have already started speculating over who would be stepping onto the stages for 2025
“Now that Glastonbury 2024 has come to a close, any very early predictions for 2025?

Kate Bush had many fans talking: “Legends wildcard would be Kate Bush,” said one.
“Kate bush would be amazing!” agreed another.
The singer recently hit out at claims that she was a “weirdo recluse” after she stayed away from the limelight for large chunks of her career.
She said that the physical exhaustion of touring was the reason she stopped performing.
In 2005 she told The Guardian: “I do think I go out of my way to be a very normal person, and I just find it frustrating people think I’m some kind of weirdo reclusive.
“I’m a strong person and I think that’s why I find it infuriating when I read, ‘She’s not very mentally stable, just a weak, frail little creature’.”
Rihanna was mentioned several times by fans, with many hoping she’ll perform in 2025.
She had to pull out of the festival in 2023 after she fell pregnant with her second child, Riot.
“Radiohead Rihanna Fred again Stevie Nicks,” echoed a third.
Another fan suggested that Chappell Roan would be there after having an “amazing year”.
Chappell has become one of the biggest new stars to break out into the spotlight this year.
“Not a headliner but give the war on drugs a set on the pyramid late evening sat. Would be perfect,” one wrote.
“Sam Fender,” another suggested.
Despite the festival being a total hit this year, some fans moaned about it having the “worst line up ever”.
Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA performed on the Pyramid Stage, while Shania Twain was booked for the coveted Legends Stage.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fumed, “That’s the worst Glastonbury lineup of all time. Oh my god.”
Someone else added, “Another traditional festival gone to the swamps. Horrendous.”
A third chimed in with, “Might be the worst Glastonbury line up I’ve ever seen.”
While a fourth agreed, “Worst line up I’ve ever seen, by miles in fact.”
One more joked, “Every passing year this looks more & more like Chelmsford V Festival.”
