SHE’S recently been accused of “flaunting her wealth” after throwing a lavish birthday party for her one-year-old daughter Margot.
But, when it comes to fashion, Billie Faiers says she favours the great British high-street over expensive designer clobber.
The former Towie star, 34, said: “When it comes to clothes, I am 100% more high-street [than designer].
“I might buy the odd T-shirt or coat but, for me, I just think there are so many good options, why would you [buy high-end]?”
Billie, who is mum to Nellie, nine, Arthur, seven and Margot, nineteen months, added: “I definitely prefer buying high-street for myself and the kids.
“As all parents know, kids grow out of their clothes so quickly.”
The gorgeous campaign for her new collection with George at Asda was shot in Marrakesh, the heart of Morocco.
It is Billie’s fourth instalment of womenswear in collaboration with the supermarket fashion brand.
I was lucky enough to join the brand back in March and travelled to Marrakesh for a sneak-peek behind the scenes, a first look at the collection and an exclusive interview with Billie herself.
It features swimsuits, bikinis, beach cover-ups and summer co-ords, in sizes six to 24, with prices ranging from £10 to £40.

“It’s safe to say that Billie’s recent collaboration with George is her best one yet. She has truly crafted the perfect summer holiday capsule wardrobe, featuring affordable pieces that look like they could be three times their price.
I’ve always been a fan of a good matching set, so it’s no surprise that my favourite pieces in the collection is the geometric print shirt and shorts co-ord. Made from a ‘soft touch’ lightweight fabric, the print is incredibly on-trend, and it’s a comfortable outfit that seamlessly transitions from day to night.

Billie said: “When designing this collection, we made sure that all of the swimwear could be bought separately.
“For me, this was really important, as I have always had to buy different sizes for bottoms and tops.”
She added: “We have kept all women’s bodies in mind when creating the collection and ensured the pieces feel really supportive in certain areas and have the right amount of coverage.
“There is something for all shapes and sizes.”
Billie models the collection, which features a warm-toned geometric print co-ords, a cream crochet maxi dress and gold metallic beach cover up, and says she hopes to have created pieces that are wardrobe staples for years to come.
Drawing inspiration from Billie’s personal style the thoughtfully curated selection ensures fans can rock a complete and versatile poolside wardrobe this Summer.
She said: “It’s so important that people can have that premium luxurious look but for a really reasonable price.
“The quality is amazing. It’s not throw away fashion, it’s stuff you would pick out every year and bring out.
“I have my summer stuff up in the loft. I think about that when I am designing. It’s classic, timeless and pieces you can just bring out every year.”
According to Daily Feed, Billie is worth a whopping £3 million, with the majority of her earnings coming from her reality show deals, the TV personality has recently completed the renovation of their £1.4m house, which includes a walk-in wardrobe.
Billie says her favourite piece from the collection is a nude rhinestone-encrusted mesh dress, adding: ‘When it’s on you know it ruches, and like fits in all the right places”
Billie also explained that looking glamorous, while feeling comfortable is key.
She said: “I always think about mums and what mums want to wear. You just want to be comfortable.”
Her go-to outfit is “leggings and a sweatshirt” when she’s at home, but she loves to throw on a pair of heels when she’s going “out out”.
The range is already a hit with shoppers on Instagram, who gushed: “Can’t wait to get shopping! All looks amazing” and “Omg!!! Love them Billie! They all look stunning”.
Billie first starred on our screens in The Only Way is Essex and since leaving the show has also appeared on her own spin-off reality TV series, Sam & Billie: The Mummy Diaries and Billie and Greg: The Family Diaries.
The collection will be available to shop online at george.com and in selected stores from 4th July.
