SHANIA Twain will make her Glastonbury debut later today as she performs in the coveted legends slot on the iconic Pyramid Stage.
The country superstar will be part of a star studded weekend that has so far included performances from the likes of Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Cyndi Lauper.
Shania, 58, has described the opportunity to play at the world renowned Somerset music festival as a “once in a lifetime thing”, telling Radio Times that she was one the edge of her seat before the invite was confirmed.
The Man! I Feel Like A Woman singer will no doubt have been working hard to make sure she looks and feels her best for the performance.
But what is the star’s secret to looking so youthful at 58?
Shania revealed that that she uses a homemade cleanser to take off her makeup, which she makes by mixing olive oil and sugar.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, she said: “First thing is olive oil. Why do I use olive oil? I’ve just learned that oil really does break down the makeup and flushes the pores out.”
She continued: “I put olive oil and sugar in the palm of my hand – quite a bit of sugar. Then just a couple drops of olive oil, and I mix that in the palm of my hand until I can start rubbing it in.”

“I don’t rub it in hard, very softly. And my skin feels, even without moisturiser, so good”.
This method is super cheap, and you probably already have the ingredients in your kitchen cupboard.
However, some doctors have warned against using this technique.
Dr Stephen Humble, medical director of Hedox Clinic on Harley Street, told Hello!: “Sugar’s abrasive texture can irritate sensitive skin and cause micro-trauma, particularly around the delicate eye area.”
The doctor continued: “Olive oil’s moderate comedogenic rating means that it may clog pores and significantly worsen acne.
“Additionally, allergic reactions to these ingredients are also possible, leading to redness, itching, or swelling.”
The Canadian singer revealed back in the 90s that she uses Bag Balm jelly as part of her beauty routine.
Bag Balm was originally developed to rub on cows udders to prevent them from becoming sore and chapping.

Shania revealed that she uses the cream on her hair and face to soften her skin and moisturise her locks.

Shania said that she religiously applies sun cream every day, telling The Cut that this has made a “huge difference” to her skin.
Wearing sun cream is one of the best and easiest ways to protect your skin.
As well as helping to prevent sun burn and skin cancer it also reduces signs of premature ageing.
Shania also said that she exfoliates and uses a Vitamin C serum daily.
The That Don’t Impress Me Much singer previously revealed that she follows a gruelling diet, and only eats liquids before her shows.
In an exclusive chat with The Sun, she said: “I only drink fluids all day until after the show.
“I drink my food, so I blend my food.
“Lots of blended spinach and blueberries.”
However, nutritionist Rania Batayneh, MPH told The US Sun that this diet prioritises “slimness”.
He said: “Shania may not want to eat during the day because she wants to look as slim as possible and not feel bloated.
“Unless she supplements with protein powder, she would be missing protein.
“She would be missing nutrients by depleting, eliminating, or restricting any food group.
“Shania should be focused on adequate protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, and micronutrients, including vitamins and minerals.
“This imbalanced liquid diet may negatively impact bone density, muscle mass, digestion, and cholesterol levels.”
The star did admit that she is “ready to chew” after her shows though, and said “I am happy to have pasta, and I will have a glass of champagne after the show — I like to celebrate.”
