THERE’S an age-old insult that TK Maxx is where brands go to die.
If you think this, you need to throw your little book of clichés out of the window because it’s so far from the truth.
A popular Danish fashion label has hit TK Maxx shelves[/caption] There’s handbags, shoes and even ‘fuzzy’ tops[/caption]In fact, TK Maxx is currently stocking some of the hottest designers on the planet right now – just ask TikTok.
Gen Z fashionistas on the app have unearthed on-trend products from a Danish fashion brand known for its contemporary and chic designs.
Enter: Ganni.
That’s right, the off-price retailer is stocking pieces from Ganni.
And it’s not just the odd piece hidden amongst the rails – there’s aisles and aisles of shoes and handbags by the designer.
Founded in 2000 by art connoisseur Frans Truelsen, Ganni was initially a cashmere label.
However, it gained significant momentum and recognition when a married couple took over in 2009.
The fashion house is famed for its vibrant prints, bold colours and a distinctive mix of high fashion and casual wear.
Where do you think the leopard print jeans trend started?
The brand offers a wide range of clothing, including dresses, knitwear, outerwear and accessories.
Shopper Danielle DelGiudice urged people to “run, don’t walk” after finding hundreds of Ganni accessories in her local TK Maxx.
She shared a video from inside the Amsterdam store on TikTok.
“Tk Maxx is really upping its game with the shoes,” one shopper commented.
“Running there now,” another quipped.
Danielle found a mix of heels, sliders, boots and trainers, as well as a boxy black bag and a shell bag.
She picked up a pair of Black Heeled Bow Sandals which originally cost £295.
According to the UK TK Maxx website, you can also pick up a Ganni Black Fuzzy Knit Cropped Top worth £135 for £49.99.
You will find the pieces under its Gold Label offering,
