A CLEANING expert has shared a gas station buy that eliminates all odors.
They explained that the heavy duty purchase can handle everything from “gross teenage bedroom” smells to dog poop.
Redditor Schlormo shared the cleaning tip in a viral post.
They explained that they’ve primarily seen people use the product for hard-to-get-rid-of smells.
“There is a product called Ozium they sell in gas stations and headshops that many people use to eliminate tobacco and weed smells,” they said.
While it works well on odors, the Redditor found from first-hand experience that it simply works on, well, anything.
“It works for odor elimination on EVERYTHING,” they said.
“Between my various cleaning jobs and penchant for taking in stray animals, this has been a godsend.”
The Redditor promised that the quick buy will make all your odor problems obsolete.
“Gross teenage boy bedroom smell? Easy,” they said.
“Eighteen-year-old special needs dog flung liquid dookie everywhere and now you want to set the house on fire? Yes.”
The cleaning expert vouched for the product even in professional cleaning environments.
“You work as a janitor and spent the day covered in various substances, chemicals, and body fluids? Yes, but not on skin, only spray the air,” they said.
“I imagine it will work for your purposes as well.”
For those looking to use Ozium in their home, they shared advice for the best way to start.
Here are some tips to help you when you clean your home next:
“You don’t want to inhale it, so make sure nobody is in the room or will be going in the room for the next hour or so,” they advised.
“If you overuse it and fill the room with it, it may be slightly flammable so no open flames just to be safe.
“It does have a weird bayberry sort of smell but it will dissipate pretty quickly after spraying to eventually smell like nothing. Definitely read the bottle first.”
The cleaning expert even revealed their go-to laundry detergent, for those who needed a recommendation.
“Alongside this, for laundry, my go-to detergent is Persil Odor Fighter with vinegar during the rinse cycle,” they said.
The two products, they explained, make a world of a difference in the home.
“Those two things should make a big difference for you, alongside other excellent suggestions,” they said.
