A MAKEUP aficionado has dished on her favorite mascara dupe.
She said the beauty product doesn’t flake or smudge, and it won’t break the bank.
Redditor Sapphicsighs revealed how she gets the most bang for her buck with her drugstore products.
She gave recommendations for all types of makeup, including eyes, lips, and face, choosing products that fit into most budgets.
One dupe in particular stood out from the rest, a mascara that is comparable to a more expensive brand that has gone viral.
The beauty lover started with the eyes and shared her go-to cheap mascaras.
“L’Oréal and Maybelline both are known for making great formulas, but my favorite right now is the Elf Lash Xtndr,” she gushed.
“It’s a tubing mascara, so it doesn’t flake or smudge, and is an awesome dupe for the Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions.”
The Elf Lash Xtndr is sold for $7 at Target and is a much cheaper alternative to the $25.99 Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions.
She then moved on to the budget-friendly eyeshadows that impressed her.
“You’ve got to check out the Flower Beauty Lights palette series,” she advised.
“They’re such a luxurious formula, amazing for one-and-done shadow looks with a little bronzer in the crease.
“Moira Beauty is an affordable indie brand that also makes amazing palettes,” she added.
She then offered some recommendations for eyeliner on a budget.
“Revlon Colorstay and L’Oréal Infallible are my go-tos for liquid liner, which is my preference,” she said.

“I also like Kokie Cosmetics and LA Girl for pencil liners.”
Finally, to frame the face, she shared some of her favorite brow products.
“I swear by the NYX Thick It, Stick It Brow Gel, but I’ve heard that Essence makes a good version as well,” she said.
She also recommended Catrice foundation and concealer, Essence Pure Nude Baked Blush, and Professional Makeup Buttermelt Powder Bronzer.
“Moira Beauty makes the best affordable powders, hands down. I love their Set & Correct Line, both loose and pressed,” she added.
“Their loose powder in rose is a stellar dupe for the Givenchy Prisme Libre for like $11.”
