LOVE Island winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan are engaged to be married.
The couple – who met on the winter series in 2023 – announced their happy news with fans.
Kai shared the special moment he popped the question to his beloved while on a punt.
Sanam was pictured open-mouthed, having been taken aback by the surprise proposal.
The couple then kissed as they celebrated Sanam saying “yes” with a bottle of champagne.
“Introducing the next Mrs Fagan,” Kai wrote on Instagram.
“Beautiful, Caring, Loving and Smart are just some of the words that describe you.
“I love loving you, I love you and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Kai and Sanam, both 25, won the show’s second-ever winter series last year.
The couple moved in together last June and recently revealed they’ve gone back to their normal jobs.

PE teacher Kai and social worker Sanam said their relationship is more important than having fame.
Kai said: “What makes Sanam and I different is that you have to decide what you want more – the fame that comes with the show, or the person you’re in a relationship with.
“You get invited to parties but we wanted each other more than that lifestyle. We enjoy every moment together and we do things the other person is interested in, too.”
Sanam added: “I didn’t go on Love Island for fame and I never had that sort of lifestyle before the show. I was a social worker beforehand and still am. It’s given me an amazing platform.”
Kai agreed that he’s “never been interested in chasing fame” while defending his decision to go on the show for the opportunity.
He concluded, “It opens doors, but it’s about how you use it. I’d never go on Love Island again – you couldn’t pay me enough.”
They were the runaway winners of the series, receiving 44 per cent of the total 800,000 votes.
Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall (235,996) came second with 30 per cent, Tom Clare and Sami Elishi finished fourth with 24 per cent (185,572) and Shaq Muhammed and Tanya Manhenga were a distant fourth with just two per cent (19,753).
The smitten winners were left shell-shocked by the result that saw them win a £50,000 cash prize.
Their relationship went from strength to strength – and they’re now set to walk down the aisle.
