The mouth-watering Dairy Milk Choc Orange and Cookies Chocolate Block is a recent import from Cadbury Australia.
“Say hello to one of the latest creations from Cadbury Australia,” the product’s description reads.
“Cadbury Dairy Milk Choc Orange & Cookies combines Dairy Milk milk chocolate with orange flavoured creme and choc biscuit pieces to create an all new taste sensation exclusive to those Down Under!
“Well, it was exclusive…until we got hold of it and made it available to you all worldwide that is!”
Sweet-toothed revellers flocked to rave over the treat.
“OMG, this literally looks like heaven,” one user wrote.
A second added: “Looks incredible.”
A savvy shopper took to social media to share the incredible find, revealing that they had nabbed the treat for £2.99 from their local B&M store.
It comes as Cadbury launched its successful Orange Twirl – which saw prices soar to £700 on eBay during its limited release.
The traditional Twirl is 35 years old and consists of two Flake-style bars covered in milk chocolate.
Elsewhere, savvy shoppers were sprinting to Tesco, desperate to get their hands on huge share bags of Cadbury chocolate.
Tesco fan Nicole Jordan took to social media, posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.4 million members, to flag the discounted buy.
Meanwhile, Cadbury also released a limited edition Honeycomb Sundae flavoured Twirl and it is already flying off the shelves.
Chocolate fans were desperate to get their hands on the exciting new item that’s come straight from Australia’s shores.
It comes after Cadbury scrapped its Dairy Milk orange bars – sparking disappointment from fans of the fruit-infused treat.
The 180g snack was launched in 2021 following a surge in popularity for chocolate orange products.
This included Cadbury’s orange Twirl in 2019, and Buttons and Fingers in 2020, as well as Tesco’s chocolate orange bourbons.
After announcing its iconic Dairy Milk bar would be released with a fruit twist, fans were initially delighted and rushed out to buy it.
But this week the manufacturer announced the bar had been withdrawn from shops to make way for more flavours.
A Mondelēz International spokesperson said: “We continuously adapt our product range to ensure it meets changing tastes whilst supporting growth for our customers and business.
“Our Cadbury Dairy Milk Orange Chocolate Bar (180g) was discontinued in January 2024, but our delicious Cadbury Dairy Milk Orange Buttons are still available for consumers to enjoy.”
The quiet decision has left fans scouring for their favourite, and asking Cadbury where they’ve gone.
