COUNTRYFILE fans were left gobsmacked by a guest’s very unusual name on Sunday evening.
The latest episode of the BBC series saw Anita Rani and Matt Baker take a trip along the Hardknott and Wrynose passes in the heart of the Lake District.
The route features some of the most challenging roads the countryside has to offer but also allows access to stunning countryside areas.
One of these is England‘s deepest lake Wastwater, and Anita joined a local group of wild swimmers.
Meanwhile, over in the Cotswolds, Adam Henson was busy on the farm with lambing, kidding, and calving.
However, some Countryfile fans were too distracted by one guest’s name to take any notice of the topics being covered.
One moment saw cameras visit The Woolpack Inn in Eskdale and owner, Paddington Berger.
But as the show followed her movements around the popular pub, one viewer wrote on X: “Is she called Paddington? Did my ears lie?”
Another added: “Paddington who #Countryfile.”
A third tweeted: “This name is next level! 10/10!”
Meanwhile a fourth joked: “Paddington Burger 1 was far better than 2 tbh.”
They weren’t alone with their cheeky comments, as another viewer wrote: “I imagine a Paddington Burger has marmalade in it.”
