THE family of a missing fourteen-year-old are appealing to the public for assistance as they are concerned for her safety.
Gardai have renewed an appeal for assistance in locating missing Ellen O’Connor, 14.
She is missing from Firhouse in Dublin 24 since Wednesday April 10, 2024.
The teen is described as being approximately 5ft 10inches in height with a slim build and long hair.
Ellen was last seen in the Swords area of Dublin at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, April 10.
When she was last seen she was wearing a black puffy jacket, a red hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms and black runners.
She was also carrying a black Under Armour school bag.
Ellen’s family and the Gardai are concerned for her safety and wellbeing.
They are seeking assistance from the public in locating her.
Anyone with any information on Ellen’s whereabouts are asked to contact Rathfarnham Garda station on 01 6666500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
The reference number for the case is PR21673/2024.
Seperately, the family of a missing young man are “concerned for his welfare and are eager to locate him”.
James O’Brien, 23, hasn’t been seen since he disappeared from the Ballincollig area of Cork on March 23, 2024.
The missing young lad is described as being 6ft 2inches tall, with a slim build, black hair, and blue eyes.
Gardai have made an urgent appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
Investigators say James’ family are concerned for his welfare and are eager to locate him.
A spokesperson said: “Gardai are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 23-year-old James O’Brien, who has been missing from the Ballincollig area of Cork since March 23rd, 2024.
“James is described as being 6’ 2” tall, with a slim build, black hair, and blue eyes.
“Both Gardaí and James’s family are concerned for his welfare and are eager to locate him.
“Anyone with information that could aid in locating James is urged to contact Togher Garda Station at 021 4947120, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
