EMMA Stone was caught up in an awkward Bafta blunder as she won a gong at this year’s awards.
The Poor Things star beat Barbie’s Margot Robbie and won Best Leading Actress during the ceremony on Sunday evening.
As the result was announced and the 35-year-old stood up from her seat to an eruption of applause at the Royal Festival Hall in London’s Southbank Centre, she accidentally bumped into the cameraman.
It came as producers tried to capture all the action from the venue.
She could then be seen gesturing awkwardly at the camera before heading to the stage to accept her award.
Accepting the award, Emma said: “This is really a huge honour and since we’re in London, I’m going to start by thanking our dialect coach.”
She continued: “I really just wanna thank my mom, because she is best the person I know in the whole world.
“She always inspires me every single day and has always made me believe this kind of crazy idea that I could do something like this.”
This year’s star-studded event saw a total of 38 films up for awards hosted by David Tennant.
