Now he has shared that the wardrobe department on the BBC chat show faced a nightmare as they tried to get him into clothes that no longer fit.
The former Crimewatch presenter was going on the programme to talk about his new film that investigates the dangers of loan sharks.
These are illegal money lenders who use high interest rates and will threaten violence to those who are unable to repay their debts.
However, Rav found himself struggling to get his trousers to fit right, and joked that they kept slipping down.
He shared a picture on Instagram of a Beeb crew member cinching his trousers tighter around his waist so they would not slip.
Rav wrote: “The down side of losing a bit of timber…getting sewn into my trousers by Alex so they don’t fall down!”
Another Morning Live frequenter recently revealed the amount of effort that goes into the daytime show behind-the-scenes.
Sara Davies shared a day-in-the-life video on social media after a morning at the BBC studio, and it looked more gruelling than fans expected.
