A TEEN wept as she appeared in court charged with knifing a transgender girl 14 times at a rollerskating party.
The 18-year-old victim was allegedly subjected to a “shocking and violent” attack after transphobic slurs were hurled at her.

Summer Betts-Ramsey, 19, appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court charged with attempted murder.
The teen sobbed as she confirmed her name, date of birth and address and later told her mum: “I love you”.
Prosecutor Bunsri Bhuwa confirmed to the court “the victim is a transgender female.”
Betts-Ramsey, who is also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in public, was remanded into custody.
She is next due to appear at the Old Bailey on March 12 for a plea hearing.
The victim had been attending a rollerskating party with friends at Harrow Leisure Centre when she was attacked.
She was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged, police confirmed.
Detective Inspector Nicola Hannant, who is leading the investigation, said: “This was a shocking and violent attack and we continue to support the victim and her family as she recovers from her injuries.
“Since the incident occurred, we have been working tirelessly to identify those responsible and are making good progress with our investigation.
“We have already arrested four people however we continue to appeal for anyone who may have been in the area or who believes they have further information to come forward and speak to us.
“We have increased police patrols in the area and would encourage people to approach these officers with any information or concerns.”
