A MAN who stopped shopping at B&M has insisted Home Bargains is where the real deals are.
But that’s not to say he’s a fan of the fashion items in store.
NoHun has stopped shopping at B&M, and now just heads to Home Bargains instead[/caption] But he’s not very impressed with their fashion offerings[/caption] He first took aim at this ‘New York’ jumper[/caption] Before saying that the only thing missing from this ‘dream, believe, achieve’ top is some ‘rainbow flags’[/caption]NoHun took to TikTok to share a video of his tour of the shop, as he said: “I’m just in Home Bargains, I don’t really go to B&M anymore.
“I only really went there cause there was nowhere else to go in the pandemic.
“You go in there and they’ve still got the same, what they were selling in lockdown.
“Gives me PTSD!”
He then turned the camera to show some of the clothing items on sale in Home Bargains, as he said: “I see they’re still trying to break into the fashion market then!”
Of a jumper with New York written on the front, he said: “I don’t even think they’d wear that in Northfield. Never mind New York!”
“I’ve always wondered what they do with all the leftover tea towel fabric – now we know they turn them into jumpers and try and call it fashion,” he joked about a waffle-knit hoodie.
Holding up a girls’ t-shirt with “dream, believe, achieve” on the front, he added: “The only thing that this is missing is some little rainbow flags”.
A boys’ jumper had the slogan “Ahead of the game, the future is now” written on the front, but NoHun added: “Well, if this is what the future is, love, I think I’d rather live in the past!”
There was also a jumper with an attached collar, as well as a spotty hoodie, as he continued: “I mean, what is this?
“It screams ‘Divorce me’. I mean, look at this one – unless you were trying to dress like the solar system you just wouldn’t would you?
“I wouldn’t even set fire to these clothes to keep myself warm.
“It would be an insult to the fire. I’d rather freeze!”
As for the two for £5 offer on some of the fashion items, NoHun laughed: “I think you’d have to pay me £5 to take it from you love!”
“So I’ve just googled Jeff Banks because I didn’t know if it was a real thing,” he added.
“Apparently Jeff Banks is at the forefront of affordable fashion.
“So here you go everybody – this is Jeff Banks with the ‘how to look like a closet lesbian’ collection.”
NoHun then moved on to having a sniff of some of the air fresheners in the store, starting with the Glade floral cherries which “smells a bit like poverty”.
Next trying some Febreze, he said: “That smells like still thriving, even in the cost of living!”
“Me in Home Bargains,” NoHun captioned the TikTok video.
People were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: “Home Bargains all the way!
“So much cheaper than b&m & more choice!”
“I wonder if new York have jumpers on saying UK,” another mused.
“I brought the ‘divorce me’ top a few years ago to wear in court,” a third laughed.
As someone else noted: “Jeff Banks used to be in Debenhams years ago.”
“Jeff Banks has gone down in the world, used to be at Debenhams now Home Bargs,” another said.
“I’d rather live in the past – I choked,” someone else added.
“Dream believe achieve – the new live laugh love,” another commented.
