A SAVVY beauty pro has revealed the right way to use dry shampoo – and turns out, we’ve been doing it all wrong.
If you’re like most people, including the team at Fabulous, chances are you reach for dry shampoo when your locks are already greasy.
According to Bambi, it’s best to use dry shampoo on day 1 hair instead of waiting when it’s already greasy[/caption] The stunner also advised to ditch your spray shampoo to a powder version[/caption]However, as one whizz, Bambi, recently explained on TikTok, this is why your hair may be looking less fresh not long after, no matter how much of the product you’re using.
Another key element to remember, she told beauty fans in a video, was also ditching your regular spray dry shampoo to a powder version.
”For my fellow greasy haired gals, use a powder dry shampoo on day 1 hair – not like your aerosol, like spray dry shampoo.
”You want a proper heavy duty powder dry shampoo.”
Raving about the hair staple in the clip, Bambi told how it’s been ”the biggest game-changer” in her routine that’s made all the difference.
”My hair would get greasy like seven hours after washing it.”
What’s more, the blonde stunner, who regularly shares skincare-related tips on her platform, added the powder also gives her hair an instant volumizing effect.
”Thank me later,” she chuckled.

Someone else warned: ”I did try it once when my hair wasn’t that oily, I wouldn’t recommend using it in that state, just made my hair feel like straw, so don’t use too much.”
Fellow social media users raced to comments, where they shared their thoughts and top alternatives if you want to slash the costs.
”I literally use talc powder,” penned one.
”Cornflour/cornstarch also works if you’re in a pinch and super cheap! And healthy for you!” another chimed in.
