SHE wanted to boost her pout with filler, and decided to go for Russian lips too.
But Lozz was left so swollen after the procedure that she had to buy a face mask to wear if she went out – and she could also barely eat.
“I know, they’re huge,” she acknowledged in a video on her TikTok page.
“And if I go out, I’ve bought some face masks. So I didn’t like wearing them through Covid, but I’ve got lip filler and now I’m going to wear one because I ain’t going out like that!”
She showed herself trying to eat a piece of buttered toast, as she added: “I’ve got to cut all my food up small!”
But she concluded: “We’ll get there. Beauty is pain!”
“First time getting lip fillers,” Lozz captioned the video.
“How much u had put in?” one person asked in the comments section.
“I have had about 3ml altogether and look nothing like that, have u had a reaction?”
“I had 1.5ml and had Russian lips done too,” Lozz replied.
While filler is injected horizontally during a traditional lip augmentation procedure, Russian lips involves injecting tiny droplets of the filler vertically at multiple points.
This gives the effect of a perfect doll-like pout, and also reduces the chance of any sort of migration happening.
However, getting Russian lips takes longer than traditional filler, and often results in more swelling – as seen in Lozz’s case.
“The lady did say get ready because there going to be massive,” Lozz added in response to another comment.
Some people shared their own suggestions for dealing with the swelling, with one writing: “Cold compress as long as you can, and drink lots of water.
“Aftercare is super important to help manage the swelling. hope you feel better soon!”
“Ice and arnica, lovely,” another added.
“Don’t do heat, it will make the bruising worse.”
“Once they go down you’ll want them back,” a third laughed.
To which Lozz replied: “That’s exactly what everyone says!”
“They gonna look so good when the swelling goes down,” someone else promised.
But not everyone was impressed with Lozz’s decision to get Russian lips.
“Oh god why just why?” one wrote.
“They look shocking,” another insisted.
As a third commented: “Girls when did this become a thing, before you say I do it for me, you all like a duck with Pringles in ya mouths, let alone the dangers but crack on.”
“Of course, people can do this to themselves they’re totally entitled but I just can’t see the appeal to me,” someone else said.
“It just looks awful!”
“It’s ya own fault for having it,” another commented.
“Why though?” someone else asked.
To which another suggested Lozz should ask for a “refund”.
