In an open letter published online, Quincy made clear that he considers Diddy his real father and states: “Diddy has been a father figure in my life for as long as I can remember.
“Sean Combs is the person who I look up to and appreciate as a father.
“He is the person who helped mold me into the person I am today and I will always try to live up to his expectations.
“As far as my biological father goes, the ‘spitting image’ is all I have taken from him.”
Similar to his father, Christian Combs is also a rapper and performer, he goes by his stage name King Combs.
“Christian always wanted to be on stage since he was three years old,” his father told The Breakfast Club.
He recalled: “Every time he would be on tour, he would just be mesmerized by the stage and want to get on and talk on the mic to the people.
“When he came out and said he wanted to be a rapper, I said, ‘You gotta do it on your own.’
“So he found his own distribution and started grinding, but everybody thought that I was helping him.”
