HANGING up your Christmas lights can be a long, arduous process.
But one woman has shared a clever hack to make things faster, easier and less damaging to the outside of your house.
“Don’t want to drill through your brick to hang up your Christmas lights?” she began the video, which was shared on the Home Talk TikTok page.
Instead of using drills and nails, she suggested grabbing some “heavy duty hot glue”.
In the clip she was seen using a hot glue gun, placing a glob of glue on the brick and then attaching the lights wire to it.
“This has got to be the easiest way to hang your lights,” she concluded.

She added in the caption of the video: “Must-see Christmas lighting hack!”
People took to the comments section to weigh in on the hack, with many wondering if it would hold up in colder climates.
“If it gets cold outside it comes right down – doesn’t work,” one wrote.
“It don’t stay on once it gets cold,” another added.
To which someone else insisted: “Most do, I have been doing this years a few pop off but not that many.”
“I install my light just like that every year,” another wrote.

“We have used hot glue for the past 7 years and we had a really bad ice storm last year and all were still standing strong,” someone else added.
While another commented: “Great idea! Def need to use the low temp glue sticks, not the cheapies from craft stores.”
