Born on April 3, 1992, Katorah Marrero is popularly known as New York City-based rapper Young MA.
Her career gained traction with the release of her self-titled mixtape in 2015.

Regarding her first full-length record and how she found inspiration, the rap star said on Instagram: “There isn’t a single day that I don’t think about my brother. He continues to motivate me, inspire me, and this project will forever be dedicated to his legacy.
“You’re gonna get the truth. Real personal. That’s why this album is called Herstory in the Making, because it’s about all sides of me.
“People will hear this album and say, ‘I had no idea she was going through all that.’
“I don’t put myself out there on social media. I save it for the music, and I write it all. This is all me.”
On May 21, 2021, she released her second studio album Off the Yak.
In April 2019, eagle-eyed fans speculated that MA was dating model Mya Yafai after the latter appeared in an Instagram live session with the former.
Later that year, the two were also spotted together at Megan Thee Stallion’s Hottieween party.
By November 2021, it was revealed their romance came to an end when MA began flaunting her relationship with online influencer Kaylah Gooden.

Due to MA expressing her desire to have children sometime in the future, sleuths took to social media to wonder if she was hinting about a pregnancy.
The hip-hop hitmaker was quick to shut down the speculation, explaining that she’s not expecting and that, if anything, it would be her partner who carries their baby.
The not-pregnant rap sensation wrote on Instagram: “Of course, my girl is the one that’s gone be pregnant.
“That’s why I looked at her and mentioned her smh. Y’all bored lol, but I get it… Sell ya stories, and we workin’ on one now.”
Although the rumors were false, the speculation resurfaced more than a year later.
