KATIE PRICE appears to officially be making a bid for Christmas number one and has shared a first look at her upcoming single.
While kids Junior and Princess hit the Pride Of Britain awards with their dad Peter Andre, Katie has been looking over footage from the weekend, when she holed up in a recording studio with X Factor’s Scarlett Lee.
Katie Price has shared a video of her performing at a recording studio[/caption]Both Katie and Scarlett teased fans about their collaboration, hinting that something festive was on its way.
In the new clip, Katie shared herself from the booth with the first bars of the potential single being aired for followers to see.
The single, which we don’t have a name for yet, is a love song, with Katie crooning: “Talking about sunshine and rainbows with you, talking about late night therapy with you.”
So looks like she’s taking a leaf out of Taylor Swift’s book when it comes to writing about romance in her songs!
Katie has been sharing videos from her trip to the recording space over the past two days, clearly excited about working with X Factor’s Scarlett and declaring “dreams do come true”.
Alongside a video of them together in the studio, Katie, 44, wrote: “Dreams do come true. Never give up. Scarlett you are beautiful inside and out and an amazing singer and songwriter. I’m just so excited.”
Scarlett appeared in the 2018 series of the ITV singing competition, losing out to Dalton Harris that year.
She added further speculation by joking on Saturday evening: “Everyone loves a rumour. We love a Christmas song, don’t we? @katieprice @thecave.music.”
Katie has previously made several bids for chart success, including a notable effort to represent the UK at Eurovision in 2005 with single Not Just Anybody. She lost out to competition Javine Hylton, who ended up performing at the event that year on behalf of the United Kingdom.
She peaked at number 12 with ex-husband Peter Andre, with the couple releasing a cover of Aladdin classic A Whole New World.
In 2010, she made another attempt with Free To Love Again, which came in at number 60 on the charts.
