THIS is the shocking moment a teen driver suspected of having a knife almost ploughed down a policewoman at speed after cops punched him during a stop.
Cops intercepted the 4X4 black Merc shortly after 9pm in north London following a tip off it was linked to gang activity.
A number of officers surrounded the vehicle on Ashmore road in Kilburn after pulling the driver over.
They smashed a window and attempted to detain the driver but he made off towards Harrow Road, almost colliding with an officer.
A 19-year-old suspect has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, the Met confirmed.
A force spokesman said: “At around 21:10hrs on Thursday, 29 September, officers on patrol in the Kilburn area stopped a car in Ashmore Road, W9. This followed intelligence that the car was linked to gang activity.

“The driver initially stopped, but then attempted to drive away.
“Officers smashed a window and attempted to detain the driver, but he made off towards Harrow Road and almost collided with the officers who had surrounded the car.
“Fortunately, none of the officers, or any members of the public, were injured and a number of urgent enquiries were carried out to trace the driver.
“A 19-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of a knife, possession of cannabis and driving offences. He remains in custody at a north London police station.”
