ITV viewers have been treated to a Dales anniversary to remember with an explosive hour-long episode on Sunday.
But with multiple lives hanging in the balance, Emmerdale fans will be eager to know who survives the deadly storm.
Who survives the storm week in Emmerdale?[/caption] Many residents will have to deal with the aftermath[/caption] Bernice Blackstock and Bob Hope organise a clear out[/caption]Spoilers and soap bosses alike teased an explosive start to the week for the show’s fiftieth anniversary on October 16, 2022.
Fans first believed two major characters could have been killed off after they were left for dead in the woods while looking for a pregnant Amelia Spencer.
Last night’s instalment of the Yorkshire-based program left viewers shocked as a THIRD resident was seemingly between life and death as well.
While fans remain on the edge of their seats, they’ll surely be pleased to know that not everyone in the eponymous village will be left in mortal danger.
More Emmerdale stories
Coming up next week, Bernice Blackstock (portrayed by Samantha Giles) is one of the main surviving villagers as she organises a group to deal with the storm damage.
Her deputy Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) quickly feels put upon and his resentment towards Bernice only builds up.
Meanwhile, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) are terrified their affair could be exposed by Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) after he caught them together once again in the storm.
Next week, Aaron is urged by his stepfather Paddy (Dominic Brunt) to hash things out with his mother and he reluctantly agrees.
Chas denies being with Al when Aaron accuses her of infidelity – and she stoops very low to keep him quiet.
The Woolpack manager emotionally blackmails Aarons into backing down and pushes him towards the decision to leave the Dales altogether again.
Paddy begins to get suspicious while a two-timing Al tries to slow down his partner Kerry Wyatt’s (Laura Norton) desire to move forward with their planned nuptials.
Speaking of Kerry, she will also have to deal with a pregnant Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) feeling resentful after her fling with Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).
Everything you need to know about Emmerdale
The heartthrob is mortified when he sees Chloe speak with Charity (Emma Atkins), scared his one night stand will come to light.
Deflated, Chloe decides to leave Emmerdale – but can Kerry convince her otherwise?
Meanwhile, David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) comes back to the village after the storm and Bernice urges him to attract customers again.
Leylca Cavanagh (Roxy Shahidi) is, on her part, evasive when Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) asks if she’ll be seeing her husband Liam (Jonny McPherson).
