WHAT do you get with an untrained ferocious dog? A bite, you get bit – but one pet trainer refuses to let that happen.
TikTok dog whisperer Caesar demonstrated his taming method on an aggressive dachshund, and people were furious by his instruction.

And it’s up to the owner how much time and money they want to spend doing so, not to mention they have to figure out what type they prefer.
Pet expert Caesar displayed a training method that was not well-received by viewers but seemed to work on one vicious dachshund Lotus.
The TikTok account @Petsouvenirs posted a video of Caesar’s actions after Lotus chomped at his hand.

At the start of the video, Lotus appears to be sitting calmly on a woman’s lap.
Another woman is sitting between him and Caesar on the couch.
When Caesar moves his hand to pet the dog, Lotus immediately jolts his neck and bites down hard on Caesar’s hand in between his thumb and pointer finger.
According to Petful, “Dachshunds rank among the most aggressive dog breeds in terms of aggression against both people and other animals.”
So, this behavior wasn’t atypical, but Caesar argues your reaction matters.
As soon as Lotus has a hold of his hand, Caesar throws the dog to the ground by taking hold of his harness.
Once Lotus is on the ground, Caesar pins him by his neck.
“I’m sorry,” the woman at the end says.
“No, that’s the whole thing,” Caesar responds.
He explains the method behind what viewers would argue is his “madness.”

“If you back away, you only hurt his psychological understanding. So, we’ve taken advantage of the brain through this, and we have to stay there until the brain relaxes,” he explains, still pinning Lotus down.
Once Lotus is still and no longer fighting Caesar’s hold, Caesar removes his hand.
Lotus is unable to get up until the three adults do.
He doesn’t let Lotus get up until he does[/caption]“That’s part of the ritual,” Caesar admits.
Lotus attempts to get up again, but Caesar shushes him and holds him back on the ground.
“See, he knows now that even if he uses his mouth, I’m not going to back away,” he explains.
A ton of viewers expressed their frustration and apprehension with Caesar’s methods in the comments.
While the video gained 7.6 million likes, the comments section reached 63,600.
“Bro had trauma in his eyes,” one viewer wrote, while another added: “How anyone thinks this is ok is beyond me.”
A concerned commenter said: “This kinda dog are really sensitive on the back, throwing them like that on the floor can really hurt them, I mean way more than any other dog.”
“Literally in vet school, we use this guy as an example of what not to do,” an educated commenter expressed.
Other viewers praised Caesar’s method.
“I can’t wait to get a dog and train them properly thanks to Caesar,” one supporter commented.
Another Caesar fan wrote: “This man is so good.”
