THE Queen thought Meghan Markle should have solved her bitter feud with her dad before she married Prince Harry, a pal claims.

In it, the Vanity Fair royal editor explores the relationships between the Sussexes, Wales’s and King Charles amid Megxit.
But the long-running issue of Meghan’s dad – a former lighting director for films – allegedly sparked chaos inside the palace walls.
Thomas Markle, 78, famously did not attend the May 2018 wedding after suffering a heart attack.

He has not seen his daughter in years and has never met his own grandchildren Archie, three, and Lilibet, one.
In the book, a source close to The Queen claims Her Majesty grew concerned that Meghan was unable to heal the wounds of her fractured relationship with Thomas.

Allegedly frustrated at the situation, The Queen intervened – making a point of speaking to the Sussexes about the saga, MailOnline reported.
“It was the Queen’s feeling that Meghan should sort things out with her father”, a close family friend claimed.
The source adds how Her Majesty also felt that “Harry should have met Thomas before the wedding”.
And the book goes on to reveal how The Queen allegedly “thought the whole thing could have been better handled”.
Thomas Markle was married to the Duchess’s mum Doria Ragland from 1979 until their divorce in 1987.
Meghan’s dad – who watched The Queen’s funeral with his son Thomas Jr – has been unable to reach his daughter since 2018.
The Duchess of Sussex was left furious after Thomas staged photos – which showed him reading books about England – to get Meghan and Harry’s attention before the wedding.
It led to a monumental row, leaving the pair estranged for years – despite the California-based duo living a short distance away from Thomas’s home in Rosarito, Mexico.
The Sussexes began Royal duties following their May 2018 wedding.
But they left The Firm in an extraordinary exit in January 2020 for a new life in California.
It comes as The Sunday Mirror reported that Thomas is hoping he can repair his shattered relationship with his daughter following The Queen’s death.
Speaking on behalf of his dad, half brother Thomas Jr, 56, told Meghan: “Dad treated you like a princess your entire life and deserves the respect.

Thomas Markle is allegedly attending speech therapy sessions following a stroke – with his son saying a “full recovery is on the horizon”.
