WITH the cost-of-living crisis putting many families under immense stress, it seems that more and more people are looking for alternative ways to earn a living than the standard 9-5.

One savvy side hustler called Mak, known on TikTok as ‘moneywithmak’, makes around £1,000 a day thanks to her simple side hustle.
Mak has a whopping 377k followers and 3.8million likes on the video sharing platform and has been doing her side hustle for the past three years.
She regularly uploads videos with tips and tricks on how to get started and wants to advise those fed up with their current career to take the plunge.
Mak uploaded a video to social media with the caption ‘side hustle for beginners – how to sell digital products’.

She said: “How I make over $1,000 a day on Etsy.
“Go to ERANK.com and look for trending products.
“Use Canva to create a digital product.
“Sign up for an Etsy shop.
“Create a digital listing.
“Upload the file and add keywords to the listing.

“Set price and quantity – then publish!
“There’s so many kinds of digital products to sell”.
In a follow-up video, Mak revealed the types of digital products that you can sell on Etsy.
She recommended: “Business label templates, short-term rental guides, mock-up photos (I recommend mugs), digital art prints, printable sticker sheets.”
In another video, Mak claimed: “Making $10,000 a month doesn’t have to be hard… you just need three sources of income making $111 a day.
“I have 7 sources now, it’s possible”.
Mak listed the seven streams of income that she has: “Branded dropshipping, affiliate marketing, print on demand store, YouTube, digital marketing, social media management, content creation”.
TikTok users were thankful for Mak’s advice, with many quickly taking to the comments to express this.
One person said: “At $1,000 a day I’d quit my job tomorrow”.
Another added: “You are the first person to ever post exactly how you do it thank you”.
A third commented: “Yesss. I have a couple on there myself. They’re fun to make especially when you know you’re helping someone”.
Someone else begged: “Please please please teach me!!!”
However, not all TikTok users were as convinced it would be as easy as Mak explained.
One user commented: “What they don’t tell you is how long it takes to make your first sale…”
