A PENSIONER has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was killed in a picturesque village.
A 68-year-old was detained by Sussex Police after a 49-year-old man was found unconscious in Storrington, West Sussex.

Locals claimed two men had been arguing over a dog, The Daily Telegraph reports.
It is not known if the alleged row was related to the man’s death.
Cops have not released the victim’s name but have confirmed his family are being supported by specialist officers.
Police said the Sunday morning horror was an isolated incident and there is no further threat posed to the public.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “A 68-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
“There is a heightened police presence, including forensic officers, in the area.
“It is likely the road will be closed for several hours while the investigation continues.
“Members of the deceased man’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
“This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the wider community.”
Police and forensics officers remained at the scene on Sunday night.
A cordon is still in place and a police tent was also spotted in the town centre.
Cops say the road will remain closed for several hours while the investigation continues.
In a tweet, Arundel and South Downs MP Andrew Griffith called on residents to allow cops to “quickly establish the facts”.
