HARRY Styles has NOT purchased Grand Designs’ saddest house ever.
The chart-topping popstar was thought to have purchased the property on the North Devon coast after visiting the area earlier this year.
Harry Styles has not splashed £8million on a North Devon property[/caption] The house featured on Grand Designs and was described as the ‘saddest’ ever[/caption]The £8million property is located in Croyde Bay, a popular seaside village in North Devon.
It comes after the singer was spotted enjoying a trip to the south coast earlier this year where he allegedly became interesting in buying a property there.
Its alleged that Harry fell in love with the stunning scenery of the area and Chesil Cliff House was the perfect fit for the As It Was hitmaker’s property portfolio.
However, the estate agents who are selling the property have shut down the rumours, insisting the singer is not the new owner.

Estate agents Knight Frank debunked the rumours in a statement to the Daily Star stating: “There is no truth in the rumours that Harry Styles has purchased Chesil Cliff House. The house is still on the market.”
A local resident had previously told the Daily Star:” It’s the talk of the village.
“Harry Styles has apparently bought the house for £8 million. I don’t know whether it’s just Chinese Whispers but that’s what everyone is saying.”
A second local added: “I’d heard that Harry Styles had bought the house. I don’t know whether it’s true but if it is then Harry’s welcome here.”
Edward Short was the owner of the £10million property when it appeared on the Channel 4 propety series Grand Designs where it was described as the ‘saddest’ house on the show ever.
Edward appeared on the programme in October 2019 but is looking to offload the property following a series of personal struggles including a battle with Covid-19 and admitted the house has been a ‘stain of failure’ for him and his family.
The incredible home was built in the style of a lighthouse and has been sitting empty after years of development hell and a series of setbacks.
During the stress of attempting to create the perfect property, Edward also split from his wife Hazel and now wishes to get rid of the house to start over.
It is thought that the sale of the clifftop mansion will also have another beneficial impact on Edward.
The sale would help to relieve him of £7million he has accrued in debts from the problematic mansion.
However, estate agents Knight Frank debunked the rumours in a statement to the Daily Star stating: “There is no truth in the rumours that Harry Styles has purchased Chesil Cliff House. The house is still on the market.”
