THE TIKTOK beauty community is going crazy over a simple trick that gives the perfect pout in seconds – and there’s no need for expensive fillers.
With more than a billion active users, TikTok is home to millions of trends – and recently one trend in particular has taken the social media giant by storm.
The whizz tried the hack after seeing a video by this TikTok user, @alissakrn[/caption] The hack promises the perfect pout[/caption]Here, the make-up lovers can be seen giving themselves an instant pout in just seconds, with no costly treatments and needles invovled.
The hack is so easy and all you need is a eyeliner in black or brown – whatever your preference – which you then use to make a small line by the corners of your lips.
One make-up fan, Jawaria, who goes by the username @jawarshere on the platform, decided to give the trick a go – and it’s safe to say she was impressed.
In the viral video, which has been viewed close to 2 million times in just two days, Jawaria claimed that she used to do this ”all the time” years go.

However, she said that it would be ”so horribly obvious”: ”I was like ‘No one can notice’ – they could.”
Now, years later, as a 23-year-old, Jawaria decided to try it once more.
With a full face of make-up and a nude, glossy lip, the make-up whizz used a darker shade liquid eyeliner and carefully drew two small lines on both sides of her lips.
To make sure it’s evenly blended, she also went over her lips with a brown lip liner.
”And just like that it looks so nice and pouty.”
But whilst she may have loved the final look, viewers were of a slightly different opinion, and many thought it didn’t appear too neat or natural-looking.

Another suggested: ”Maybe if u used brown pencil it’d work, black is so prominent.”

”On camera it usually looks good but irl [in real life] it always seems so much more obvious,” a third user joined in.
A fellow beauty was was more concerned about the durability: ”but but but when you eat does it smudge? do you reapply it throughout the day?”
