IF you have gaping cups or a loose band, it might be time to invest in a new bra.
But how do you know which is the right bra size for you?
Well luckily, a professional bra fitter named Nicola Crook has taken to TikTok to reveal the very easy method that anyone can use to find out their correct bra size at home.
In the video, she can be seen holding an unpadded bra and begins: “When it comes to measuring bra sizes, you can measure in a top like this, or something ideally like this…never something like this, which is a moulded style.”
She continues: “You’re going to take two measurements – the first measurement you want to take is around your rib cage, right under your bust.”
So my measurement here is 29in – and then you want to take the measurement around the fullest part of your bust.”

She goes on to explain that once you have those two measurements you take away the 35 from the 29 which gives you 6in.
“So to work out the cup size – I’ll put up a chart below – but it’s A, B, C, D, DD, E or DDD if you’re from the US,” she continues.
“So I would start with a 30DDD or E and I would see how they fit and how it’s working from there.”
The post has since garnered an impressive 351,000 views and been flooded with comments from grateful women.
“Thank you for this. I need new ones while on the weight loss journey for the surgery,” enthused one.
A second praised: “Best video yet, slow and informative, doesn’t leave you guessing.”
A third wrote: “OMG Every time I tell a woman this is the correct way to measure she tells me I’m crazy. Pay attention ladies.”
Another penned: “This is helpful thanks.”
