Police in Florida said that Ja’rell Lewis was last seen on Friday morning in the area of University Boulevard North in Jacksonville, but he was found later that day.
Officials did not specify where the boy was located, only saying he was safe.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement initially said that the boy may have been with his father, Terrell Lewis.
Cops even provided the public with a description of the vehicle the two may have been traveling in.
The Amber Alert sent out just before 2.30pm called Ja’rell a “kidnapped” child.
On the FDLE website, he was listed as “endangered,” but he has since been found.
