NEW CCTV footage has shown the moment restaurant staff rushed out to help Amir Khan after he was robbed at gunpoint.
The former boxing world champ had just finished eating at East London restaurant Sahara Grill.
After saying goodbye to staff, Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom crossed the road towards a parked vehicle.
But in a flash, Khan was approached by a two men, one of who pointed a gun at him.
The 35-year-old was robbed of his £71,000, 19-carat rose gold diamond-studded Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph watch.
The two men then got into a vehicle that was parked a few feet away and drove off.

Footage from inside the restaurant shows Khan leaving through the glass front door, with staff waiting in the entrance area.
As Khan is approached by the gunman, one staff member points before rushing out of the eatery.
A number of other staff member then flood out of the door to attempt to help Khan.
Eight men in total are seen leaving the restaurant and crossing over to Khan.
The restaurant have posted the clips on their Instagram page.
A witness in Leyton, East London, said: “The robbery was over in seconds and was clearly targeted.
“I fear the robbers saw the watch on social media and followed Amir to lie in wait while he ate.
“He was really calm during it all which is a credit to him.”
Olympic silver medallist Khan posted a picture of the watch and its serial number on Instagram to try and catch the criminals.
He told fans: “It feels a bit weird not wearing a watch but it is what it is.
“I just wanted to tell you guys that I’m all good.”
Police said they were following up enquiries.
