A GUEST on The Great Home Transformation broke down in tears during conversation with Nick Grimshaw during tonight’s episode.
Wednesday’s instalment of the Channel 4 show saw Nick Grimshaw and Emma Willis visit Suffolk to try and help couple Shaz and Zarqa.
The programme uses experts, as well as specialist heat mapping technology to help those who need to give a their home a makeover, but are not sure where to start.
It found that the pair spent less than one hour together in the living room, and the whole family squeezed onto one sofa.
The dining room space was completely forgotten about, and the kitchen definitely needed updating.
Before they got to work Nick and Emma met up with the couple – however Zarqa was missing.

Shaz revealed that his wife and their two kids contracted Covid so they weren’t able to take part in filming.
Later on in the episode Nick and Shaz took a moment outside to reflect on how well the project was going.
Shaz said: “My wife loves to add her touch to the house.
“Unfortunately she’s not here because of Covid, she’s being missed a lot.”
He had to stop talking as his emotions got the better of him.
As Shaz walked off to get himself together, Nick sympthaised with him and said: “I know. It’s emotional. It’s a lot.
“But I think when she gets back, she’s going to love it so much.
“Are you missing her being here for this?”
Shaz replied: “It’s just really for her. It makes me happy to see that she’s going to see something wonderful come back to.
“I think it will be life changing for her.
“For me it’ll be nice to see her really happy, and nice for the kids.”
Designer Alex Dauley worked her magic on the property and she certainly didn’t disappoint the couple.
They had to view the end result separately so the bug wasn’t passed on to anyone, but they both absolutely loved the rooms she worked on.
